CPU usage 100 percent

Unless your CPU is in idle mode you want it at 100%. Would you like only 50%-75% of the power you paid for going to waste? I think not... When you multytask, it breaks up that 100% so you may be using 80% for your game and 20% on something else. but all in all you should be using 100% of your Prock while gaiming. that's normal.

What you may be experiencing is a corrupted Dat, possibly for the environment. Do a File check on your game and fix the broken jor corrupted files. All the Virus scanner shit and popup etc... would/should happen consistantly throughout the game not just in sky.

wrong...the cpu usage is what your system is having to use to perform a task. if its going to 100% its using the whole cpu to process one thing which will cause hanging/freezing while performing other tasks. if its at 100% its processing more than it should. playing ffxi, i run at about 30% or so
this will also vary on the speed of the cpu and other internals, but if i remember right, WSM has a 3.2 Ghz cpu...there is no way that should run at 100% while playing ffxi.
also everyone, he stated that it only happens when accessing one area...it rules out spyware and other programs running. it is possible that it could be caused by something of that sort, but its highly unlikely in this type of situation

Do you have any iexplore.exe processes running in your task manager? If so and they are running at 60+ % on a consistent basis you have a Trojan that is very new and most antiviruses have not updated their definitions to resolve this problem. I know a few ppl at work whose CPU is always running at 100% because of iexplore.exe. The only way I have found to remove this is to remove the start up filename from your HKLM registry but I would not recommend it unless you are familiar with regedit. Once again this is only if iexplore.exe is the problem.

With my vast repertoire of computer knowledge, I emphatically recommend that you push the button and jiggle the lever.
That brings back the good ol' days of first year, and my buddy's masterful "Three Wiggle Jiggle" which he believed would fix any corrupted hard drive.

He is now a plumber.

On topic, it seems like the CPU's being caught in a command loop - it's pretty difficult for games to make your CPU hit 100% by conventional means. Do you have any .dat files swapped, music replaced, etc?

Use windower sometimes. No music swapping or anything though.ieplorer using 32k memory atm.
