Due to some of your previous posts I thought you were a dumbass, due to some other people's posts I was begining to think you were a gil buyer.

Now you're leveling GS, and this post...pretty much solidifies both thoughts I had about you.

I like to PL crafts, the only time I don't care about days is when the synth is a profit and everyone (except maybe you) knows that isn't all too often while leveling.

Hope you got American Express no limit card cause I don't know if a regular card will be able to keep up with you.

when you raise a craft hastily (as someone who does not know when to HQ has obviously done) I'm 18 and I work as a temp I'm sure I could afford HUNDREDS of dollars to level some stupid game craft. OR NOT. childish idiot.. my goldsmithing is something I intend to raise over MANY MANY months.. why rush? I'm not going anywhere any time soon. If it takes TWO YEARS to hit 60 even.. so what? It's a PLEASURABLE thing to do while LFP. Farming sucks, I've done 600+ hours of that and I think I've had enough.. and I dont like to fish.
So, when I get gil on occasion, I will level Gold a bit. Please have real backing to your accusations before you go and make yourself look like the idiots you two are.

The PL'n part was about darklion, thats why it was a PS to vang, he hates PLers in his craft.

When you are starting out crafting, of course you know nothing, just like when you start leveling. After a while though you should have it down. There is absolutely no reason to be level 60+ at anything and not know basics about crafting. This question is a basic question someone asks when they start a craft. When looking up what synth to do next you come across info good or bad.

You really shouldn't give help if you don't know what is being talked about. At 28 you can craft pretty much anytime and get skill, things change as you get later in a craft, and (with most crafts) get real expensive per synth. The words that come out of a rookies mouth hold no wait. Thats like me going up to tiger woods and telling him how to hold his golf club cause I beat hot shots golf on ps2.

Its not worth putting yourself on the spot with a dumbass line like the one you used and make yourself look real dumb.

See powerlevelling a craft is like powerlevelling a job. You get the level, but you don't learn the skills that you need to make it work.... Being a L75 PLD doesn't make you a good player if you don't know how to hold hate. Being a 100 level crafter doesn't make you a good crafter if you don't know how to make money with it.

And learning what to craft, how to find the ingredients, and when to do the crafting is what makes the big bucks.... You just have to go to Allah and see how many people are complaining about how they can't make money with a 100 craft to see that it isn't just getting the level that matters.

but yea.. jeebus i just wanted some advice on what would give me the best chance to HQ, i didnt mean to start a huge argument . but yea. the reason i dont know that much about crafting is cuz yea, i had the extra gil, and i really wanted to go into fishing. so i thought hey, before i level fishing, why not level crafts that use the fish so i dont waste them? so my goal was to hit 100 cooking (almost done^^) and 60 alchemy (done^^) so i can get the most out of the fish i catch. Since yes, its true i powerleveled cooking (not so much alchemy tho) (LMAO i just tried to hit tab on alchemy and i hit tab enter... haha it posted my 1/2 finished reply....rofl) and yea, now that i'm getting into the higher portion of cooking i was just curious becuase sooner or later, im gunna want to HQ stuff, and i thought mithkabobs was a good place to start practicing i guess ^^. like i said... didnt mean to start a huge argument.. srry for the trouble ; ;

In my view..if you're PLing a craft, you're levelling a craft....which means you're crafting something a couple levels above you...which means you're not gonna HQ all that often anyways, so meh. =/

More power to the people who manage to HQ while skilling up on stuff...but not all NQs are losses, even..

...after Demonknightx gave information about his craft and level. So the point seems to be "why blow a fuse at someone who's asking for how to HQ if he spent most of his time PLing his craft?"

I feel in most crafts, you learn about ways to make profit on NQs much more than on HQs pre-50. Post 50, you start to look for more ways to profit on HQs from low-level recipes, so usually by 80 skill, you know what HQ'ing entails as you usually have done your research.

But seeing how Demonknightx's craft is cooking, I understand why he might not have cared about HQs by then. Most guides offer dirt-cheap recipes to skill-up on, so one can get their cooking way above 50 without having spent a second thinking about how to get HQ results, prefering to wait until the skill reaches the highest level possible within one's means before starting to profit from their craft.

My opinion? If someone leveled Clothcraft to 80 and you still don't know how to HQ, then yes, it's reasonable to think the guy got his funding in a questionable way. But for Cooking? I'm hardly surprised.

This game is based on reputation. All you're doing is backing into a corner, as everyone surrounds you. And you lash out, you scratch, claw, and gouge your way out. Trying to just climb over this wall of people that have you cowered into a corner. Stop. Stop fighting, Stop defending yourself.
