Credit for maat battle question...

Do you have to talk to maat on each job before you beat Maat? pld and bst I talked to maat simply cause I didn't know where the battle was, but smn I knew was winderst area.

I went and beat maat as smn, but I didn't get "Maat masher" title. Like I did with pld and bst. Did it count the win taward maat cap? Or might I look forward to redoing smn Maat?


Yea, Maat cap is my next goal. 4/16 so far with most jobs 37-60.
 
I only beat Maat once (DRG), and while messing around in Rabao with the title changer NPC, I noticed I can indeed get the Maat Masher title, although I didn't get it when I beat Maat.

You got it. You can't not get it, as it's a defeated mob title. The thing is, it only sticks around long enough until you talk to him and get the limit breaking title.

Ah, that explains why I didn't see the title at all, I warped and talked to him right away. :biggrin:
 
Oh, ok. So perhaps it was because my avitar did all the work in killing maat, I didn't get title. I sent avitar on maat's avitar, so maat was basicly the innocent bystander. teehee

I had that problem once a long time ago, talking to maat again should fix it? Did for me. Congrats on your 3rd-4th win?
