What the heck happened here??? This feels like a boxing match where the guy you put your bet on is dominating and when you go to the kitchen to get a beer and come back, he's KOed on the floor...

It was a shame it was so short cause it was genuinely enjoyable.

By the way it isn't San d'Oria alone we should give congrats to, the 11 servers that had Windurst win should get some applause too ^^

And those who actually went above and beyond the call of duty and got around 100-200 shards for they're nation in the event.

And those who got they're HQ glasses.

And pretty much anyone who had fun in the event =D

Now I'm wondering when players are supposed to get those added bonuses SE is due to give from this event.

I dunno, I didn't much care for this event - I'd still take the Twinkling Treant event over this, I found it really discluded low level players and I'd like to see something where we team up, as a nation rather than OP Warp > Chocobo > Run > Get raped by NM you didn't see > Wait around for someone that isn't a mage to show up and beat it.
 
Those results are complete bullshit, the same nation getting last on all but 2 servers and only second place on the servers that they weren't last on? On a lot of the other servers, bastok has a huge population(unlike here); so there's practically zero chance of on every server bastok would come in last place.

I'm not saying that bastok couldn't come in last, but there's no way in hell it'd come in last on every single server. It's statistically impossible.

I especially don't buy those results when we had zealots like skaw and zoner who collected a fuckton of crystals. Most people just got their NQ shades and stopped at 1-2 crystals; so them collecting that much would counter most of the crystals of other nations.

Someone seems to be forgetting how much Bastok sucks. It's okay, in time you will realize Windurst is the best.

On a more serious note, publishing results halfway that were wrong isn't the best way for SE to handle the event. People tend to slack off when they think they've already won...
 
I do like how the superior "we are *so* much better than you" attitudes turned into the "this is grossly untrue, there's no way we could be in last" attitudes.

If you're going to care about this at all (I was more amused by SE's error than by my nation turning out to be in first after all), at least be willing to take the BS you were dishing out before. :P

There's a difference between saying "ha ha we're winning" and "wow SE just completely hosed us." While Sandy was losing on most of the servers before, they were still winning a few of them. While amusing that Sandy was losing on a lot of them, it still looked credible. Now, bastok got slammed into last place on almost every single server; something that's pretty much impossible to believe. I'd be willing to bet cash they fucked up on counting again, or just fucked with the results directly. Whether they actually do something about it, I wouldn't count on.

Nope... the highest we were supposed to have was only 2nd place on two servers. last on every other server....

I think their data got swopped directly between sandy and bastok.
