SE made a chime for tell, use it. SE need come out with a portable vibrator, Like at a restaurant you get a /tell and it will vibrate, may be that be more convenient for you

Yeah take hellstorm's advice. Use the goddamned chime. I've seen 20-30 people lfp at a time on severa occasions all because a large portion of them were being stupid and afk or the 5 whm/rdm/brd/nin/war seeking were all afk.

Assuming that OP makes an ass outta you, you have no one to blame but yourself. He didn't FORCE you to make the post. Take responsibility for your actions. That is what you're asking him to do, right?

Furthermore, I don't understand why this situation couldn't have been handled in tells. It seems to me it was just a big misunderstanding that could have been resolved easily with a little effort. But where is the drama in that, right?

I don't think it's sad really. What would be sad is if people were still under the delusion that there's a chance that they have the best of intentions, because 95% of the time, the things you've said are true. :D
 
no chimes or anything of the sort wont work, most of the time i'm out of the house hahaha
