DA BEARS

Still suck.

No I'm kidding, but I'm surprised they haven't learned to not kick it to Devin Hester yet.

What? Devin Hester hadn't had a TD on special teams in 2 seasons. He nearly had 2 in this game because the punter kicked the ball wrong twice. The second one he finally got into the end-zone. The short line drive didn't give the Packers bad special team time to set-up which Hester should have broke past the punter on that run, and the high deep kick gave Hester an extra 15 yards to get moving as he actually has lost a step in his speed and acceleration.

Lets face it. The Packers were the better team, period. Jay Cutler had 4 interceptions taken away by bad penalties. Those penalties made Jay Cutler look good tonight when he honestly didn't have it. 150 penalty yards by the Packers is what did the Packers in.

If the Bears hadn't got lucky on that punt return after not going for the field goal on the 4th down on the Bears' offensive series before the punt return it would have been 10-10 and a different ball game.

Yea, if those two teams play again I doubt the Packers will have 18 penalties again. A sloppy, poor performance by the Packers was almost equal to the normal, good performance of the Bears.

It's like back in week 1 when the Redskins beat the Cowboys. The Cowboys are still the better team, but they beat themselves and earned the loss more than the Redskins earned the win. Yesterday, the Packers earned their loss more than the Bears earned that win.

I disagree. While, yes, the Packers may have the better offense, they were not the better team last night. If they were the better team, they would not have had so many penalties. They had a bad night and they played like crap. The Bears were the better team last night.

In summation: Da Bears!

It goes both way, don't forget the bogus roughing the passer called against the bears for a 100% clean tackle. Otherwise, that drive had a high chance of ending up a field goal.

In other football news, can the Browns win already? They lose 3 games by less than a score. We must be the best 0-3 team out there right now lol.

What are you smoking? Aaron Rodgers had a 75% completion percentage with 316 yards passing. Tack on the 20 rushing yards he had. The Packers had 380 yards of offense against the Bears. The Bears had just 276. That's a large discrepancy. If the Packers hadn't dropped an interception, and had one taken back by a penalty right after the dropped interception Jay Cutler's rating would be a lot worse. The Packers also held the ball for 11 more minutes than the Bears. You want to tell me the Bears weren't outplayed if it weren't for the penalties?

Whatever the reason for the Packer's loss, I'm looking forward to playing the Giants this Sunday.

This is a realistic Bears fan that's from Chicago (I still hate you due to the blackhawks cup win... ;) ). I think the Bears 3-0 start will get a wake up call soon. If they make the playoffs, it would be with a Wild Card position. Even then, I don't know if they get that. They go 3-1 in October, 1-3 in November, and 0-5 in December (count 01/02/11 game as Dec). Lovie Smith loses his job at the end of the season.

Yes, that's right. The lose in Detroit on December 5th.

If not for the cheap "completing" the process of the catch call on Calvin Johnson, the Bears would already have lost to the Lions in Week1, and at HOME no less....

Nah, I think the latent talent on the Lions rost starts click come mid November and really throws a wrench into the playoff picture. Albeit, they won't make the playoffs but I honestly think they're finally on the right track as a team. Next year, assuming they address their secondary and pass rush, they'll blow up and they'll make their division very interesting. Best looks like he's the answer at RB that they've been looking for since Barry Sanders.

The Bears have on offensive line. Forte gets beat down, they under use Chester Taylor which they acquired in free agency for the point of a spell back. It's flat out their line that's crap, and young receivers... but it's hard to get experience with a gambling quarterback and a crap line not letting plays completely develop.
