Dante's Inferno

Ok found a really weird glitch of sorts. In Greed when riding that big monster once again, I got to the Wheel of Fortune, fell through the floor, died, and ended up skipping a boss somehow... Erm... thank goodness I saved before that so I can try that again.

Oh, and I'm going to try and max out both Holy and Unholy.

gametrailers.com gave this game a pretty harsh review. but im still getting it anyways.

The game is very fun and far more enjoyable then every review claims. I dont know if its more then a rent still as every game like this just is... No reason to play it again other then dark/light side.

Finished the game some time ago, I thoroughly enjoyed this. On my 2nd playthrough on the hardest difficulty.

Oh my, this game is simultaneously more disturbing and more awesome than I thought.

The detail is CRAZY.

Just got through Gluttony (eww Cerberus), and I was halfway through to Lust before I realized you could talk with Virgil more than once...

I know, I found that out after I had beaten the game... Apparently that's how you get the last few Relics I'm missing.

I'm gonna play through it again on easy just to get the relics I think.

Played it for a couple hours tonight. Don't like it too much. It pretty much a cheap god of war, and has terrible checkpoints.

Is there any reason to stick to only one path or should I go for both? Right now I'm lvl 3 holy.. but I could see leveling unholy so my scythe gets stronger. There's not like a different ending is there?

Don't think so. Its only if you want trophies. There's one for getting level 7 holy or unholy, and one for maxing out the entire path.

I didn't get the one for maxing out since I put a few in Unholy, so yeah.

I finished it Saturday morning. I liked it. Not GOTY or anything, but I had a good time.

ive been playing this, last night hit my first glitch. i was on one of those monsters you can control and one of the guys climbed up it to try and get me off, except in the motion where he grabs me, he fell off the monster...and slid back up its side and got into the pose to grab me..and we were just stuck like that, couldnt do nothin, it was like the game froze but it didnt.

Although Tristam hasn't tried it yet but with Redemption Mode (Save Game+) and Resurrection mode (start at the first Circle of Hell with all abilities, relics, and souls of your previous playthrough) makes it easier to get both maxed out if you really want the trophies.

Fer sure, at least it gives me a taste of what I'm missing since GoW 3 isn't gonna be released for the 360 ; ;

Surprisingly little mention of this games real star, The Wang of Mephistopholes.

oh its banned here ... but got my copy from the black-market ... somehow its feel short , rushed

It's only the first canto of The Inferno, that's why it's short. It follows the story (aside from the artistic license) pretty closely. It will be interesting to see how Visceral handles Purgatorio and subsequently Paradiso, though. I really hope they don't have Dante fighting his way through the angels of Heaven, especially after fighting his way through demons in Hell to free himself and his love...

I can completely understand why it's banned there too, The Inferno didn't really put Saladin/Salah ad-Din in a grand light, even though Dante did say he was virtuous.

that something small , just whole level of lust is enough to put it on banned

Beat it yesterday. Story was stupid as hell.

Spoiler:
That was the worst portrayal of the devil ive ever seen, in anything. Also massive plothole: Charon told Dante to step aside for those who are actually dead. The game's huge plot twist was that he had been dead the whole time. What?

Whats the difference between Redemption and Resurrection mode?

Well, that makes perfect sense too.

Spoiler:
Because Lucifer couldn't have possibly told Charon, and Minos to attempt to prevent Dante from passing. Also, which portrayal of Lucifer? The giant encased-in-ice triple-faced beast? Because that was spot-on from the stories, the only detail omitted being each mouth chewing on a different traitor. They even included Lucifer's frozen tears. I'll agree that the smaller pan-like classic portrayal of Lucifer was a little bothering, but you can't really fully fight a giant encased-in-ice beast...because he's encased in ice.
