Had a party with this RDM last night in Bibiki Bay. He did okay.. I did notice refresh off a few times for longer than usual but nothing I couldnt handle... a bit slow on silencing Fascinators but got around to it eventually ( or someone did ). But then....

He casts Dia 2 on an Eft, right after a Fascinator is pulled. A mistake, granted, but after the Eft kills him and the whm and the blm, the Gob drops some AOE spells and I invincible, well, Bomb toss cuts right through it when he suicides and I bite it too. WAR and SAM only ones alive.

What would be the good thing to do? Stick around to at least get those who died their xp back.. but no.. he says "my bad, im tired, im logging now, bye"

So, half an hour later we finally get a R1 from a BST for our whm, get raised, heal up, in all this time can't find a rdm or brd, and have to disband.

Give at least a half hour notice! And if you get people killed, please stay long enough to get the xp they lost back.
 
I had a party with him last week I think In bibiki bay too.

He played for 45 minutes then said he forgot he had a basket match and he had to leave.

for th eparty itself he was engaging all the time the mobs and forgetting refresh a lot. He did not slept the link we had once (I did it and when it woke up I died as a blm tarutaru no chance)

So Then Daone is one person I won't invite to join party anymore
 
You know, for god sakes we should just make a list of good RDM at this point! A dying breed I begin think looking at these boards. Thank goodness I leveled WAR with a fantastic one... ^_-

And that's terrible Beka, I'm really sorry. (at least party yesterday was good?)

I concur - when you join a party you should either let them know what time you need to go in advance, or give a half hour warning at least when getting ready to go. This is of course in a normal situation - circumstances being what they can be, if you need to leave urgently there isn't much one can do about that. You know... if the stove is on fire or something... >.>

Maybe they want a Nin tank instead......LOL just kidding bud, Yeah that was crap they ditched you like that, but I took full advantage of the situation and moved in on the Main deco camp with Rampage pt ^^

I'd like to see a list of good players, no matter what job they play. :)
 
Bluefrost is on my list of good players heh...
 
Yeah, but I dont think it was an accident at all (me being the War of said pt), dude wasn't very good anyway, then all the sudden 4 members down (being his fault), and he bolts. It's a shame he's made it to the lvl he has.

I've been getting that alot too.

Had a JP BLM fall asleep or just walk away from his computer the other night. Not sure what happened, but it is becoming less and less of a rare occurance these past months.
 
I was waitin for this Beka haha, I was the BLM in the party. He's not a bad RDM all around, but at lvl 65 mages shouldn't have to beg for refresh. Missing it for a fight or two isnt the end of the world, but when there are entire chains cut short because no one was refreshed besides the RDM, then I get a little cranky. As for the way he left the party, that was kind of uncalled for. Agroed an eft, RDM dies, I die, Beka and WHM die...RDM logs... Not cool.

I had him in my party the other night, but I was on my THF, so I didn't notice refresh problems, but overall the party worked out really well because the PLD (Ullu) and DRK (Samar) and WHM (Nao-something) were awesome. Anyways, thought I'd say allo.

thats actually a pretty good idea, just put each RDM that others say is good on it. someone should get cracking on this...
 
I'm sorry but that don't seem like Daone to be acking a fool like that, Idon't know but when it comes to daone and his job he's on it and i'm pted with some shity rdm's, Make the list of people not to party with, but what if the lvl another job? or they changed how the play there main? are you not oging to invite cause they fucked up on one job so you going to blame there new for it as well? point is people can change how they play the game via there job, So adding them to this list is going to prove what"this dude sucks as rdm"(but we looking into his other jobs?) idk so there for i play the game as it comes, But seeing want you all are saying about Daone i don't believe it one

1) - Thanks for popping in and backing me up Tazok and Gath ^^.

2) - Bumblebee, I didn't say he was a bad rdm. I said he was okay, not great but not horrible. I was upset that after he got us killed, which is a mistake, it happens, instead of sticking around to make up the xp, he bailed.
That was what bothered me, and has no bearing on what job he was at the time, it would be wrong on any job.
 
First off, I'd like to add Beka to my list of good RDMs with our successful attempt at a good first static.

Second, I'd like to second the whole Daone is a douchebag. The fact that bumblebeetuna is saying hes good is another good indicator.

So I'm seeking on bard for about 30 seconds, and i get an invite from this guy's level 30 BLM. So I drag myself out to Yhoator Jungle and theres already 5 there. Sweet, only looking for one more. Then Daone hands me ldr and says logs for a sec to fix his connection. So i spend about 5 mins or so and find a jp RDM to heal us. Daone comes back and i invite him back in. Give him ldr and he just gives it right back. He goes "sorry guys i gotta go, theres a war seeking." Alright, whatever its only level 30. So i ask the war and he says no thanks, doing mission/whatever and flag on for a sec. So im sitting there for about 20 minutes trying to find a 6th, and just to see whats up i /sea all daone. Hes partying in ALTEP! Who gives up a party they made to go party somewhere else? I end up spending 1+ hour fighting nothing and just giving up when a couple more ppl leave.

As far as his skills in pt, i'm glad i didnt have to see his sorry ass ruin my favorite job.

How about wish im not trying to level my tank job? maybe solo if theres no other whms?
 
Just wanted to say that I exped with Daone on my PLD in Bibiki bay and I was less then happy with his performance. Acutally he was fuckin awlful.

i agree with you about staying around to get exp back, i ran into a few ppl that would hp and drop makes you want to jump in computer and kill a few people from time to time..

maybe i'm not understanding you fully....idk

he going to solo warms as whm and tank them?....lol could happen if he sub nin at some point......
