Kangaroo would make a good MNK lol. Although they do kick more than punch. S'pose bear could work?

BLU = Camel (Headbutt, Fire spit >_> )
THF = Rat (totally good choice)
DRG = Iguana
RNG = Hmm... ranged attack... Frog? XD NO! Spitting Cobra!
PLD = I saw someone say Armadillo... like a taru PLD? lol :3
DRK = Anteater! Can't see really well but when they hit you... buh-bye innards!
NIN = Black Leopard
MNK = Oragutang (They're already the same color as the AF)

BRD = Canary! (They can't hit anything >_> just sing and stuff)
BST = Er.. >_> idk
COR = Raccoon
SCH = Squirrel!
DNC = Stork (they dance funny when they're trying to get a girlfriend >_> )

But then I thought, I don't think turtles or armadillos are intimidating enough (thought I am sure they could be!), so I toss out another viable contender: The Ankylosauria!
