If me saying "I have a degree" was taken out of context, it was my fault for not clearing things up. didnt mean it in a condescending way, but making a point that I WORK (60 hours is great, try 80-90 Jamal) and am a SOLE provider for a wife and child. Yes most of us here work and have other daily commitments, but I started playing late when the game already had been around a while, I barely dinged 75WAR today in the morning during Campaign (arrived barely in time to work cuz i wanted to finish that campaign too XD) and took me almost 2 years to get PLD to 75. So yea, it doesnt take THAT much a commitment as you say to go to sea or sky or any other event, but thats time that a child, or my wife may want for me to spend with them. I CANT (as much as i would like to) have my life scheduled and structured in that way. Im sure many people feel this way and is why the reason I 1) never dog people for their gear (even if its gimp as fuck, none of my business really) 2) sympathize with those who have to sacrifice their game time for other commitments.
To sum things up, I apologize again if me mentioning "i have a degree" was taken in that sense for i could have said it in a more tactful way, but at the same time saying that RL commitments ARENT a valid reason to not do certain events or have buttloads of gil is just an epic PHAIL on your part and that you must be a seriously inconsiderate person to see real life that way. Im done with this topic, have at it folks. :this is4u:
