Finally, someone thought to post evidence, not surprised in the least metachronism didn't do it. Now that it's a certainty, let's go ahead and flame Darth.

It's not hearsay if yourself is the original source. Not that I'm saying a personal claim of "RMT bowed to him! Bought Belt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" has validility on its own.

The reason people don't believe him, is because even RMT bowing is hardly circumstantial evidence. I don't know if Metas noticed(not likely from that high horse,) but RMT emote to people a lot for little to no reason. Perhaps he was alone just for ToD. I bet that never crossed the morons mind.

If RMT bowed, then Meta checked and he was wearring a Velocious belt, that would be circumstantial evidence.

All Meta noticed was RMT bowing and ceasing shouts.. thats it. That means absolutely shit. And he believes that since we aren't even taking it in to consideration, we're doing it because we don't like him. Sorry, that doesn't cut it anywhere. I can report some guy to the police for having a drug dealer wave to them. Thats no where near enough evidence to claim the guy bought drugs. And, just like Metas initial claim with lacking support, nothing would come of it.

Instead of presenting anything of importance, he decided to just go ad hominen on everyone who argued that pictures would help.

skaw, it's not too surprising that you still don't see what probably half the people understood since the 3rd page or so. Screenshots short of darth wearing the belt is useless. I wonder why you can't understand that anything besides that is NOT "anything of importance." I've also outlined the fact that I would not be stalking this person just to attain that. Dumb people like to see those useless babysteps exhibitions that let them feel they're getting somewhere. Have you really thought about what screenshots would actually be useful? Well, obviously not, like some others here.

Of course, it's rather amazing what length you'd go to try to come up with reasons why RMT would walk up to a person specifically within trading range and then bow and shit. Any intelligent and respectable player would've reacted in a way to avoid suspicion by nearby legit players if it was unsolicited.

The more intelligent people have gotten what this thread is about, and have ceased to put in useless 2cents. Since when was there a burden of proof upon posters in the flameboard? As I've said in the beginning, take what you will from the thread. This is a flame. Not a court case. Do you think it really matters to me that I win the confidence of people I already abhor (e.g. marajade whom I've kicked from an LS for excessive AFK and lying about the reasons)? Obviously not.

BTW, I'm amazed you actually knew "ad hominem"--unfortunately, not well enough to spell it correctly nor to understand the meaning of the word, but it's a step up from your usual 5-word posts. Did you know that your posts (and the other stooges') are actually better examples of ad hominem arguments?

Honestly, I don't see how Meta was coming here to argue about it. You guys can bash him for not having any evidence to make his accusation but I'd really wonder why you would find that necessary if he admitted that he didn't have any clear screenshots of the situation to begin with. It's not impossible to take something at face value and without any sort of evidence if you just keep in mind that it's possibly not true. Its just hilarious that it seems like instead of being like "Oh, is that so?" you guys immediately jump into "OBJECTION!!!!" mode over some maat's cap guy who I'm sure isn't so busy that he has no time to defend himself.

Meta is right about Chinis screen shot not being anything conclusive either. In this case we're just taking Beki's word at face value instead of Meta's. Outside of Darth posting and admitting he bought it, or a picture of belt dropping into Darth's inventory with him in an RMT party that can be proven not to be a shoooooooop there wasn't anything that Meta could provide to prove it to you guys anyways. Not with the attitude it seemed like a lot of people were taking at least.

You're the one making a claim, you have to back it up. If Darth was defending himself, he'd have to back it up as well. This is how you prove someone is guilty of what they've done, and how they prove they're innocent of what they've done. It isn't rocket science. As I already said several times, but you're apparently too dumb to actually read the content of people's posts before responding, it would have established credibility with your story. You were making an accusation, despite your spouting off "I just want you to take whatever you want from this thread" bullshit, you wanted everyone to dump on Darth for buying from RMT. Bowing doesn't prove anything, but it would validate your story and it would be suspicious and people would start to question Darth.
