You left out that they're very time limited and pretty difficult. I'd say more losses are probably to expiration than wiping. They really should bump those up to an hour, 30 minute just really isn't enough.

The group I go with has a pretty hefty line of blm's. That's probably why I've never seen us even come close to hitting the 30 minute mark. But I can see how it'd happen if there weren't enough blm's. Or if the blm's weren't properly merited. Or if the blm's didn't know how to kite a behemoth. Or what a stun order is (for Wyrm).

However, I've never done the "The Hills are Alive" BC, so I might just be naive.

If you have a decent tactic the time limit isn't a problem, but it's something that everyone has to be on the same page for. All three fights can get out of hand pretty quickly if people don't know what to expect. I've never run out of time, but I've wiped on a few. The Hills is the one that really needs a lot of BLMs... I don't see it feasible many other ways, while the others can use different setups and work quite well.

They wouldn't be easy with a pickup party though...

^ That was their point though, wasn't it? to be a challenge not meant for a random group of people but a group that's really worked well together and are trying to find a new fun experience without the hassle of claim issues

Lowing keeps Aspido from recovering when he tucks in his shell, I asusme it works the same for that BC.

Lowing wasn't available to players (or even mobs I think) when the BCNM came out but ya, if that works against aspid, seems like it'd be great and help for a not so much manaburn BCNM fight
