political families keep the comedy industry rolling. when you're a comic there are definitely things that are off limits, which is more then enough reason to go there.

Be it x = "the name of" to y = "Patriotism", or any number of fill-in-the-blanks that politicians in general love to spout.
 
It's gone too far. Now people are screaming at him from the audience "How dare he, when he has a bastard son", "He will rape your children with his mouth", "He is a child abuser", "He is a verbal pedophile". Seriously? He was making an offside comment about Palin's 18 year old daughter, anyone who thinks he actually meant the younger daughter was obviously just looking to start a fight. Was the joke tasteful? Not really. If you don't like his style of humour, no one is making you watch him.
 
Does anyone really find him funny? I mean... really? Because, he's just not that funny to me.
 
Who cares - how is this news? Letterman isn't promoting anything. The Alzheimer's just kicked in and he forgot that Palin had two daughters.

Does anyone remember the joke McCain made about Chelsea Clinton and Janet Reno? That was tasteless. And all Chelsea did was be an awkward teen. Not like she got knocked up from having premarital sex as a teenager, briefly marry the red-neck that knocked her up, only to wind up an unwed mother to be trotted out by her parent as an icon of their "pro-life" politics. Just saying.

Oh yes, but poor innocent Governor Palin. The woman doesn't have a hateful bone in her body.

I don't really find him funny but he has the best "late night" show in my book. He may not be big time funny but I find him very entertaining.
 
Good lord. That video, is just, wow. When i walk around Minnesota, there are very few people like that (Thank you very much, Michelle Bachman), and they are usually identified pretty quickly and steered away from. Are people really *that* ignorant in the world? No wonder people hate america. There were some gems though.

You'd also have to be a certain kind of person if you actually believe that he promoted statutory rape. There is a difference between stupid jokes, and supporting.
