Disbanding parties...

Your so right about all the stupid ^^ faces, it does help with the JP. =P

It also helps sometimes if you throw in some stupid JP sentence you learn off allakazham.

Been there, done that <.<; I've even tried typing in Japanese, with Japanese symbols to let them know I can speak and understand a little Japanese. But because of the awfull experiences of parties they've had with English-speaking players, they still say no...

Uzor I feel your pain.
Leveling WHM was a breeze but getting invites as SMN is impossible.
Meh not far now anyway and it's a little easier now since the parties you do get usually get you some decent exp.

ok what program do you use to type in japanese cause i have a japanese keyboard and thanks to microsoft IME issues SE did not incorperate that feature in the NA login client, would love to know how you do it ^^

FFXI windower have a plugin that activates the IME feature in FFXI.

the NA version actually have it, it's just disabled.

When you get a group that clicks, and everyone seems pretty vocal about how good things are going, propose a static party. I've gotten faster and more consistant exp since I entered a static party than I ever did with pickups. I had to return to pickups over the last few days to catch up to my static and it was a hard reminder at how inconsistant the quality of the average pickup party is. If the party you're in is great, and everyone agrees it's great, and you all know you're not likely to see another great party in a very long time, what do you have to lose in proposing to make the great exp a regular thing?

Usually when things are going good and a party clicks, people are not talking.
