Dissidia: Final Fantasy

I need to do that Ad-Hoc party thing :P Link me? cause I'm lazy to search XD
 
I've got a couple of helpful things to people who want to setup Ad-Hoc party;
First, follow this guide up until you download Ad-Hoc Party:

Then sign into your normal PS3 user profile, and follow this guide:

That should set you all up. Next is a translation guide to get you through the menus.

what's the thing SE released in Japan to allow online play for Dissidia over the PS3 when playing on PSP? Is it this? (I haven't read your link yet or the images, about to now :) thanks for the info, I wanna play this with people asap :P )

Just curious if anyone remembers getting that wifi on your computer with that usb thing so you could basically make your PSP think it's wifi but really it's online.. I think that's what it was.. I remember it being posted somewhere but after some forum changes I can't find it again :(

The PS3 one is Ad-Hoc Party, which I posted. The PC one is X-Link Kai, which apparently works with Dissidia, but every time I've tried it I've been met with no success (which is odd, since Monster Hunter works fine...).
 
X-Link Kai eh? I wanna try and find that thread someone made :P damn the mass forum rearranging we've had XD that thread really shoulda been stickied
 
I just got started on Dissidia over the weekend, and cleared Tidus' story line, doin Zidane now =P still gettin the hang of it tho.......
 
The thing with Kai is that for Monster Hunter, connectivity is seamless. For other games like Dissidia though, if you wanted to play through Kai, you'd have to go through a short but head smashing process of changing your SSID while connecting to the host. The host would have to refresh their ZD for an updated SSID, quickly give it to the person connecting, then that person would have to manually update that on in ZD, then connect to that.

Xal we'll have to do it something, i'll show you what I'm talking about.
 
Thanks to Xal's AdHoc guide there I'll hopefully be on there soon. Elei, we're gonna fight and it'll be so epic that eastern PA will surely implode.
 
So, Wi-Fi can't be used on AdHoc Party? Crap... Well, looks like I'll need to hook up my PS3 to my router.

By the way, how do I transfer the AdHoc Party download from the Japanese alt account to the main account? I doubt it's as simple as Copy/Pasting it over accounts right? ^^
 
after you download and install it, you can use it with any account. I love it so far and have fought some english speaking people and talked to them using the ps3 bluetooth. I just wish I could understand most of the menus.

I've been working the Duel Colosseum off and on. Got materials to make the Bartz-exclusive Chocoblade, and soon enough I'm gonna tackle the Invincible Course to get the Goddess Magicite to make the Lv. 92 upgrade.
Also, a question to those who've played the JP version/grinded the fuck out of Gabranth:
There's an armor set off of the Lv.31-60 Colosseum course that, when worn in full, grants the ability to abosrt EX Force and EX Cores as BRV instead of EX. I was wondering if this affected Gabranth's EX Charge (because if it didn't, the set could make him fairly pimp mid 50s-70s.)
 
is the full game on playstation store yet? im too lazy to go to the store to buy one
 
I want to find the asshat that decide "ah huck let's add 10 second goal crap!" in the game -_- I hate timed shit :\ and I hate when it's crap that you can't control "Criticals" unless you go ex mode or if you are higher in level and have the right accessory, but still bullshit or stupid shit ;| pisses me off *hates the dood that came up with that shit* ><

Three different ways, from what I've found.
1: EX Mode
2: First Strike
3: Learn to block.

The one I'm having trouble with is getting 8x accessory bonus. How2get easily?
 
Just get a bunch of acc that give .5. Like no Brav dmg done to you, you're attacking your enemies brav, uhh....Hp100%, lvl 100, lvl is a multiple of 2, ect. It's really easy. Wall Rush challenges aren't fair with OK. Just not fair at all.
 
Hell, I can do any Wall Rush/10 sec with Bartz. Slidehazard's got the distance to make the grade.
I'll try out what you said about the Acc. multiplier, though.
 
Im picking this up tomorow, I thought this was a simple fighting game but reading some of the comments seems theres alot more you can do :D
 
Just picked it up in the announcement of the Governor saying there is no class tomorrow here because of Tropical Storm Erika.
I get home to my surprise he says there is class and that Erika was downgraded to Tropical Depression. Q.Q Now, I can't stay up all night playing this game.
