I guess, but he wasn't really the "bad guy" they fought him coz they sorta had to. I guess they also put him in because well there isn't a better bad guy? Although I still think Seymour would have been better.
 
no he wasn't:| the real final boss was Yu Yevon, even if it was a lolably easy fight. :P Jecht wasn't also bad at all, he was Sin but forced to do all he did because of Yu Yevon

Imo FFX shoulda been Yuna and Yu Yevon or Seymour D: Yuna was the REAL hero after all, even if the character you start off as is Tidus :P

yeah, but summoner Yuna sucked so much balls it's unbelievable...Seymour would have been good
 
I would have disowned the game had Seymour been the final boss. His motives move from "I'll save the world by destroying it!" to "hurr I want to be the boss".
Braska's Final Aeon is the true final boss of FFX because the Yu Yevon fight is total bullshit and could have been reduced to a five-minute CG cutscene.

Notice how they haven't showed Terra yet? Saving the best for last obviously.

I lost the bet. I said it won't be Cloud as it would be too obvious (and it was a mystery initially) despite the fact 99% of all fingers/facts would've pointed to Cloud.

I was hoping: Zack/Angeal/Genesis haha

I would've preferred Zack as well, such a kickass, non-emo character.

yeah she was annoying, but she didn't go around apologising every two fucking seconds of her life...that irritated me so much. and she looked cooler...SMN Yuna !> Gunslinger Yuna at all.

Cloud wasn't emo in FF7 :P apathetic and fucked up in the head, yes, but not emo. Than for some reason they fawked it all up with FFVII: AC XD

Pfft, Yuna didn't really sing much in FFX, only X-2 which sucked D: Summoner Yuna > Gunslinger Yuna.

No. I said real final boss for a reason. Auto Life fight is not a real boss.

And Yuna was also not the real hero. It was made evident, it was Tidus' story =P Yuna was the real hero in that god awful sequel.

I read somewhere that there's some sort of reason that Jecht is on the bad guy's side, because he isn't inherently evil himself. Yu Yevon does not count. No one counts Yu Yevon. Ever.

And I definitely agree that Tidus is the hero of FFX. It is stated many times that it is 'his' story after all.
Perhaps summoner Yuna would've been cool, I'd imagine her Aeons would pop out and do the fighting for her or something like that.

Either way, I'm just psyched that Terra and her Esper BURST mode are in it.

If we're gonna count people who aren't truly evil, then...
-Emperor (or at least not completely evil, as there was a benevolent Emperor in the last dungeon of Soul of Rebirth, but hey, I don't think he was even good. I dunno, haven't played DoS in forever)
-Golbez (turned goodness towards the end)
-Kuja (kinda wised up right before he died an epic tree-death, and I believe he's the one that saved the team from Necron, who, coincidentally, also shouldn't count as a final boss)
-Jecht (pretty much forced into being ebil)
 
Jecht was an ass to Tidus, but other than that he was a pretty good, stalwart guy. He didn't want to do anything that he ended up doing, as shown in the final scenes where he has his final dialogues with Tidus and company
 
Yunalesca could be seen as more of a bitch than Jecht...
 
Floating rumors, FFXI and XII representitives to be included in Dissidia.

Would be cool.
 
There's no reason not to put representatives from FF12, but FF11 is a little bit of a stretch.
