PSP Dissidia II: Final Fantasy

It'll probably have a lot of ethereal grindypoles out of fucking nowhere like Dissidia1's Goddess stage had.
Would've been neat to have, like, Throne Room or something though. Sure, it's not as awesome to look at like Empyreal Paradox, but it'd be an interesting stage to fight in, especially if it was both the bridge leading up to the Throne Room and the room proper.

Actually, it'd be pretty acceptable if Sabin was just in the game.
Too bad with Tifa and Vaan we have, like, three brawlers now.

Vaan is a weapons master, not a brawler I thought.

Flat stages suck, so probably!

Yea... but with any luck, the giant crystals floating around will allow for some wicked wall running if they are as big as they seem.

Oh wow, I'm only 60% done with Dissidia 1 but this seems way more exciting! Can't wait :D

Jump Festa trailer

Around 2:36+ you can see Onion Knight and Vaan talking in a train, which is hopefully the Phantom Train, it does look like it from the interior shot.
Following that is Bartz and Warrior of Light talking in what appears to be the Empyreal Paradox, the crystal in the background plus the swirling on the edge of the arena pretty much confirms it.

Also, at 4:38, who's feet could that be walking, I say the dress looks awfully familiar.
Hmm, oh yes, Yuna, though I wonder how they'll make her work (if she's FFX Yuna), as a Summoner, with the Summonstones in the game.

So... some interesting information on Yuna...

Everyone who identified that foot in the water as Yuna’s is right! It’s official, Yuna the sullen summoner from Final Fantasy X is a playable character in Dissidia 012[duodecim]: Final Fantasy.

Shonen Jump has the news and says Yuna has the ability to control two Aeons at the same time. The magazine has a screenshot that shows Yuna controlling Shiva and Ixion for simultaneous attacks. Yuna can also summon King Bahamut in Dissidia 012[duodecim].

Her EX Burst sounds absurdly powerful. Translated as Sending off to the spirit world, this attack makes Yuna call all of her Aeons for a consecutive set of attacks. Hmm.. I wonder if that includes "secret" Aeons like the Magus Sisters, Anima, and Yojimbo.

Simultaneous summons out at once? Sick

It looks like her EX Burst makes her opponent burst into Pyreflies o.o

SHWEET!

Prishe in trailer from the SE 1st Production Department premier:

Also the scene with Bartz at the end hints towards Gilgamesh, the voice says something like "Hello Bartz, long time no see."
Plus that seems to be the Rift opening up.

Also, the Prologue demo in Japan, has the art for Gilgamesh as well as Prishe, and a new FFXIII character we don't know about yet, as well as an unknown character, so expect 1, if not 2 more character announcements after Prishe and Gilgamesh are officially announced.

Prishe:

Gilgamesh:

New FFXIII Combatant:

Unknown:

Spoiler, not a playable character, but likely a boss

Also, their fighting styles/description from the demo:

Prishe:
Concept: Combo Maker
Description: Freely combines/combos her attacks, can link these with her original 'super moves'.

Gilgamesh:
Concept: Scramble Fighter
Description: Pick a suitable weapon to attack; even Gilgamesh can't predict the power.

So Gilgamesh, Zansetsuken, Excalibur or Excalipoor, like he usually is in FF.
Prishe, sounds like skill-chains, fun fun.

Oh dear god March 22nd that's a day after my birthday.
AND I'm planning on buying a new PSP to replace my old, broken (and hacked) PSP for this and God(s) Eater.

Prishe should be great! And let's hope the other FFXIII rep is either Sazh or Fang! They better NOT do Snow...

Prishe vs Shantotto in the Empyreal Paradox

I will do this battle. Many times.

You know I thought Desperado Chaos would be Chaos' dickery amped up to 11. Not an entirely playable character.

Yeah it's pretty slick.
Wonder if there's a hidden character, but whatever the case, I'm sure we'll find out soon since it's due out in Japan soon, probably already leaked.

Oddly enough duodecim's file size isn't too much bigger than the first game's.
Wonder what they did to tighten up the size.

Also, a track list from the OST.

I cant wait til March 22 when Dissidia 012 comes out :)
I mostly like the new characters, and the ability to play it online without connecting to a ps3 (as I ended up playing Dissidia(the first one) solo since I didnt own a PS3 to play over) - gonna get to play it with my fiancee, some xi friends and one of my friends from work who is also getting it.
looking forward to playing Prishe <3
The demo needs to come out already...

English trailer, confirms majority of the voice actors will be returning, such as Rachel Leigh Cook (from Advent Children) for Tifa, Bobby Edner as Vaan, Ali Hillis as Lightning, Liam O'Brien (from Final Fantasy IV DS) as Kain, and Hedy Burress as Yuna.

Not enough Gilgamesh to discern if John DiMaggio is voicing him (did in XII), but from the one battle line it does sound like he is.
Also, no idea on Laguna's VA, I personally feel it sounds like Kevin Miller (who voiced Sly Cooper), and of course, Prishe is only grunting a few times in battle, so we have no idea on her either.

Also, Prologus is available next Tuesday, March 15th for $2.99, a demo/expansion for Duodecim.
It's got an exclusive playable scenario with Lightning leading up to the events of Duodecim, and buying it also unlocks the Aerith assist in the full version of the game, and there's some carry over items into the full game from Prologus as well.

I, however, can say with confidence that that is DiMaggio.
