Do Tonberries exist in FFXII and WTF is up with Magic Pot

Yeah that's another thing...I saw the esper list for XII and didn't recognize a single damn name D: SE is run by a bunch of fucking wasters.

SE went by the world of Ivalice. They used some of the names of the Zodiac Braves from the Ivalice in FFT.

Mainly cause they used the Lucavi/Ultimate Summon from FFT(and FFTA Totema) with the correct translations because all 3 take place in Ivalice, which comprises of 7 of the 13 summons,
Lucavi: Belias/Velius-FFT, Adrammelech/Adramelk-FFT/FFTA, Cuchulainn/Queklain-FFT, Zalera/Zalhera-FFT, Hashmal/Hashmalim-FFT, Ultima/Altima-FFT/FFTA
Ultimate Summon: Zodiark/Zodiac-FFT.

Also they used the Totema from FFTA as some summons as well, one of those is already listed previously because it appears in both FFT/FFTA as Lucavi/Totema, which is Adrammelech, the other listed previously is the end boss of FFT, Altima. The Totema that don't appear in FFT are
Totema: Mateus-FFTA/FFII, Famfrit-FFTA/FFIII, Exodus/Exdeath(forever)-FFTA/FFV, which makes the total to 10 of 13 summons.

Next of the lists are the end bosses of FFI-V Espers, 3 listed previously because they appeared as Totema in FFTA, so won't be listing them here(FFII/III/V bosses)
End Bosses: Chaos-FFI, Zeromous-FFIV, which brings the total to 11 of 13 summons, if you have played past FFs and FFT/FFTA the summons are recognizable except one, which brings us to the last, Shemhazai is a totally new creation of SE's for FFXII that was not used in any past FF title, so that brings the total to 13/13.

In the beginning area with Reks and Basch, as the first flying Boss is put-putting away doesnt his radio say something like "you put up a good fight tonberry"?

It sure sounded like that to me.

Yeah the guy called himself Tonberry ;x Probably the name of the machine unit he used

His codename or w/e was Tonberry, the other guys was Antlion

Not that I know of no, but still haven't advanced the plot >>

so maybe this is set in the past of FFT before all the zodiac stones were created or maybe in the future and this was the punishment for using the stones

Or its not connected at all and just uses previous names :P

I'm so no used to seeing Behemoths as standing upright on their hind legs holding giant swords XD SE really got lazy and it kinda pisses me off.. their games from FFX have been decreasing in the monsters having different models -_- now they have like.. 10 models and 50 reskins for each model

Behemoths stand on their hind legs in many FFs. Just the sword part is new.

eh.. I don't remember Behemoths standing on their hind legs often, more on all 4s occasionally standing up.. though it's been awhile since I played through FF6 and I haven't played FF1-FF3 and didn't beat FF4 and FF5 (didn't get entirely far if you couldn't guess). I remember though FF7 the behemoths and king behemoths stayed on 4 legs most of the time, same with FFXI, FFX I think they were on 4 legs most of the time as well other than when they stood up to do a move (but I can't remember entirely). And I think FFVIII and FFIX had their behemoths on all 4s...

still, surely you also see SE has been.. decreasing monster models and having more of the same models just reskinned a billion times x.x

They gave the game development to the same people that made tactics advanced. Thats why the story/characters/enemies all suck. Battle is good though...

In FFT, Moogles are extinct. So it's pretty much set in stone that FFTA and FFXII are in the past(if there is a timeline)

I'd guess its the future, since every time you kill a summon, a zodiac stone is destroyed. Iunno though, that might be something else xD

didn't they say that FFXII was set in the same world as FFT but not related story-wise to FFT? Saying that it was like.. another dimension of Ivalice?
