I was helping my wife camp LL for her boots. Mappie asks to join and they both lot the drop. Then when he gets claim, he drops pt, kills, and runs off with the quote "never trust a thf".

He then has the nerve to tell me he don't care cause this is his brother's account. Sounds fishy to me since it's a r/e drop.

In any case I would not turst Mappie or his brother if I were you. Consider yourself warned

Never trust anybody.

Why did you invite him in the first place?

I'm assuming that since he said "Never trust a Thief" he was referring to his actual job so I guess they were invited for Treasure Hunter on the kill.

I hate to say it, but it only gets worse as you get 'up' in the scale of NMs. Take all the drama surrounding KA for example, or better yet, Dragon's Aery.

It happens. In future, only join up with friends or do it alone i'd say.

This sucks, but I lol at the possibility that he's role playing.

Wait so did they ninja lot the drop or did they steal the NM?

I confused.

I confused.

They claimed, making it red to them, and dropped party, so that they could claim it, and not have to lot the drop versus his wife.

probably mean he gonna get to lot as well when the boot dropped, i dont get why you invite stranger to camp NM, especially you knew they are after the drop as well. They gonna jack you up if they were given chance, and you cant a crap about it unlike real life.

I know you corrected it, but just to make it clear, QM won't save you if you get someone who really wants to steal loot.

no but it's good as taking it as well, but to give another side of inviting help.

Invite the help and make sure you have lead, really the chances of getting the nm and drop are increased slightly; it's only problematic if there are more

IThen when he gets claim, he drops pt, kills, and runs off with the quote "never trust a thf".

I think what he meant is that he dropped party before he got the claim on the NM himself.

In before lolLL

Maybe he was getting them for his brother that wanted a pair.

Either way never trust a thf. :nono:

FUCKING ****, distasteful comment (Do you need it?)

You can get leaping boots fairly easily. A good name takes much more effort. If you need an extra pair of eyes camping lizzie for your wife and I'm on, just send a tell. Mappie seems like a nice guy from chatting in pankration today, then I see this. Not smart of him at all. Let's hope there are some Tristam Greens around when it comes time for karma to be repaid, so that justice is served. We know there's at least one person on the server who rewards the honest and not the disreputable. I feel bad if his "brother" was the nice guy I chatted to today, and the cheat was the one you dealt with in the OP. It's not the person behind the monitor that matters, it's the character. The Mappie character might have some atoning to do to fit in later on. Probably not, though. For every one person who rewards good karma, there are a hundred others that don't give a damn. All this over leaping boots.
