I didn't find any of those movies full of suck. Well maybe the Flintstones, but let's be honest, I don't think anyone was lining up to see that anyway. Plus are you really picking these as examples of his work over Close Encounters, Indiana Jones, ET, Schindler's List, Minority Report...? The majority of his body of work is quality, that's the point I was making. Something Sci-Fi, high tech, futuristic, and story intensive is right up his alley.

I didn't choose none of those films because they weren't sucky. >.>
I just think it's not impossible for him to mess it up, as he did in those movies... well in my opinion...

I guess. Anything is possible to screw up for a loyal fan base. And I could think of many worse than Spielberg to try it. I hear ya though. Guess time will tell.

Meh maybe im just not a very optimistic person, must be the English. I'd name more but im sleepy. Hopefully he will do a good job though.... Hopefully...
