 First of all, I never said I was masturbating, you made that assumption, and it does appear that making assumptions about people is one of those things you're quite adept at, so we'll leave that at that.

As for all things stated later, you may the grammar police, but I am not. I'll put the time to check something important like a paper, but I am not going to go nuts about a message board post.
You mean to say that a message board post isn't a top priority in one's life? That when considering things that impact how others veiw you, such as grammar, you don't consider this forum at the top of the list?!? Interesting...

You decided to attack me, and I simply responded. It's quite silly really if you take a step back. It's so crazy just how imperfect people are. Hell look at this.
I love having my hair pulled when, um..yeah...
This is from your list of hangups. I will commend you on your steadfast determination to continue to be yourself. But I'll be damned if that isn't a hangup. Unless of course you are implying how disappointed you are when your hair isn't pulled?
You feel as if I attacked you? Again, interesting. I'm not in any way, shape or form taking any of this as serious flaming..it's not like I started calling you
names or anything.
Oh, and that quote? Taken out of context from the part of the boards that is exactly appropriate for the post I put there. REALITY sinks in, it's about the personal stuff that has NOTHING to do with the game. Read the disclaimer. Dragging a person's comments from the place where it's okay to disclose about RL into the flameboard is uncouth, young sir.
Steadfast determination to be myself? Who else would I be? And is there some reason you're stalking my comments now?

This is all of course rooted in this original quote.
The intention of course to prove a mental superiority. And I'll be damned if you didn't try to prove you were smarter than me while in the act of masterbating. I'll give you credit though, this whole skirmish was at least entertaining for me. Rock on crazy woman.
So you can continue taking jabs at me or stop taking jabs at me, it's your choice really. I'd just advise more care of grammar if you're going to call me out. I mean, the absense of a question mark is really much more damning than a mispelling. At least in my opinion.
Note: 3 AM now, wonder how many mistakes I'll find in the morning.
No, I'm not trying to prove I'm mentally superior. While I'll admit that I've felt insulted, unjustly labeled, and condemned by comments you've made in the past, I certainly don't need to prove a thing. I already know how intelligent I am, be that a little or a lot, and I have no desire to let you in on that bit of information.
At least we agree on the entertainment value of this particular post..although again, not quite sure when looking at porn = masturbation. Were that true, most of the men I know would never have one hand out of their pants.
You said earlier I was the gramma police and that grammar wasn't that important on a message board...now it's the MOST important thing? Technically, wrtiting constructs such as punctuation are not a part of grammar. Grammar is putting the correct words with the correct tense in the correct order. Writing mechanics such as paragraph structure, capitalization and punctuation are taught and treated differently. Spelling is actually more related to reading and phonetic knowledge than it is written language.
In fact, writing mechanics are really only there to allow the reader an easier time reading, specifically, to improve their reading fluency. One of the key componenets of reading fluency is prosody, and one needs to be aware of phrasing (delineated by punctuation) in order to be able to read with any degree of prosody.
All of the basic components of good written language skills need to be there to create understanding. Mechanics, grammar, and spelling. You are correct in that spelling can be the least important, simply because most misspellings are phonetic, as was yours. And phonetic misspellings allow for ease in decoding the word.
Now, I've posted some other juicy stuff since you last commented...better get busy and go dig that up.
