I just want to share something stupid a friend made while we were discussing his drinking and driving. I asked how much money he spent each time he went clubbing. His answer was between 50 to 75 dollars. I then asked him why he drives and doesn’t take a cab. He answer, he doesn’t have the money.

YEah - clubbing has definitely worn on me....since you can buy a 12 pack of beer for $9.00 and a good bottle of liquor (which can last you all night...hopefully ) for $20-$25. AND if you party at home, you can pass out ANYWHERE and not worry about having to drive or whom is touching you :twisted: again, hopefully

And I'm totally with you Jender. I'd rather buy a $15 bottle of rum then go to the bar where it costs like $5 a beer. Yes there are more ladies there, but there are also twice as many guys there. Homie don't play that.

At least I know the people I invite to my house aren't going to start a shoot-out for stepping on ones foot or something (very common where I'm from). I get to play bouncer!! Plus, I can enforce the BYOB rule and the "house" drinks for free.

As far as drunk driving goes, it's not cool at all. I can admit to times when I went out and woke up at home, in bed, wondering... HOW THE HELL DID I MAKE IT HOME! Suffering from CRS, I'd run to my window to see if my car was there and when it was I'd be slapping myself for being an ass.

Luckily, I have never gotten into an accident (while intoxicated) and I vowed to never drink and drive... again.

I love the BYOB rule and the "house" drinks for free. All I do is provide the house, and it's always friends that come so I don't have to worry about things getting out of hand. However there have been times when people just randomly showed up cause they heard about a party and I got to kick their asses to the curb.

And on drinking and driving, big no no at my party. When every gets to my house, I do a key collection and hide them in a place no one knows. That way no one leaves. And I always provide blankets and pillows or beds for everyone to sleep on. I think I have a collection of about 14 air mattresses now lol

Anyway, instead of arguing, I give them "their keys" but before I do, I switch them with similar ones. Then wait for them to return or call from their car because they can't get in!

Usually we hang out with a few people who don't drink, so we can find a way to get the drunks home with their cars.

lmao I've done the "return another persons keys" things lol It's so funny, because all the drunk people watch they person out the window and are usually cracking up by the time the person tries the 2nd key on the ring lol I've seen a guy stand out there for like half an hour trying to get his key to fit lol Then he just walked inside and saw us there and threw the keys back to me and was like "Fuck you dude, you did this to me last time" and started laughing.

I would like to "club" most of the people who go "clubbing." I mean don't get me wrong... I can dance like Rychard Pryor on fire but most of these "clubs" are full of fake people, in fake situations, listening to fake music. Haha, actually I do have fun going to clubs, people make me laugh. I'll shutup now.
