Dumb update!!!!!!!

Okay so I just got on the ps2 to play FFXI when all of a sudden it says i have to load this update i was like okay it cant be anything bad itll take probably 5 mins tops so i go to the bathroom-its still loading

10 mins later............

Yes! Its done!
Then another screen pops up
this time it says it will take thirty minutes!
so i take a break and watch TV ( I rarely ever watch tv)
I come back and Another screen pops up
then I went to get a snack
And FINALLY it was done
This is how i spent more than an hour of my weekend

Are you on dial-up??? Granted, the last update did take me around 10-20 minutes and Im on the pc version using DSL.

LOL you lucky SOB. It seems as though you werent among thte tens of thousands just WAITING for the recent 10 hour update to be done. lol. Oh it was only supposed to be 8 but you know Squenix. Then to boot they threw in another updats just as that damn emperor was about to spawn a few hours later!!!

Why are you complaining? It was only an hour.

In the future updates will be 3 hours long! (this is the future, check the date this post was made)
When i bought the ps2 version of the game with the hard drive, it took like 5 hours to download everything, cause my ps2 is old or maybe my connection sux.
