Wow, how arrogant and stupid is this guy? To think, it's bad enough what he did, only to then rat himself out thinking he's safe? Hope he's banging his head against the wall in his cell, where ever he's at.

Yeah, normally I'm not for the death penalty, but this guy.......sheesh, he really earned himself his death. I agree that in the most heinous of cases, the "eye for an eye" rule should apply.........but then we open a whole new can of worms there.

Double Jeopardy doesn't apply considering he obstructed justice by not being forth coming when the prosecution had enough evidence to convict his ass with out his statement.

Well, he didn't really have to tell the police what he did. 5th Amendment and all that, so it wasn't obstruction. However, and correct me if I'm wrong, since the verdict was overturned it basically undid the first trial as far as the law is concerned. And since the first trial didn't technically happen, there was no jeopardy to attach in the first place.
