Dunes sucks, dunes suck...

Worst party EVER last night. Seriously, I heard they had gotten worse, but good lord, I wasn't sure of just how bad things could get there.


I was leveling my SAM, or attempting to, when I got an invite from Kenko. I took it because I needed a pt -.-

First thing I notice: The WHM, Maiyah, is MELEEING. Then I notice we have a 57 RDM for a pl (Oshio). I mention this and I think the THF (Kenko) says that "She wants to kill things". Well.........fuck that, if you want to kill things, be a melee job. You're a WHM now, do your fucking job. Not to mention that even with her meleeing, she ran out of mp. And she barely rested. If she wasn't actually contributing to the pt (which seemed to be often), she was talking to her lover......what the fuck.

And who was pulling? The only other person in the pt that wasn't a noob besides me: The DRG.......who is level 13. I'm level 10. Thank god for my Empress band. She did good, but I really think the THF should have pulled >_>, and she did after the DRG had to leave. So I call a friend up (Sleepstealer) and she joins us with her MNK for a few fights. We get a PLD, but by this time everyone else was leaving, so we disband just as the PLD gets here.........with a greatsword.

So I chew out the WHM for a minute, the MNK agrees, we disband, and the MNK and I head back to Sandy.


So thank you Maiyah, Oshio, Korv, and Kenko, for making me realize why I don't level my other subs for DRG. Thank you very much, you fucking noobs.
 
Bah, no edit feature sucks.


Forgot to mention that this party had no tank.......whatsoever.......until the PLD showed up.
 
One of the most stupid things you can do is whine about a zone.If you don't like a zone fawk off and don't go there.Dunes has lots of new players so its like that always if u dun like it then stop exping there
 
there are soo many damn complaints about the dunes lately.
you shouldnt even know the real name of the valkurm dunes, taht damn place might as well have been callled Noobs Express :p

That's called a bad pl'r
If you are going to pl, don't constantly spam cure if there's a whm or rdm in the group. Let them main heal, let the tanks hold hate. if someone is going to die THEN save them, and if the whm or rdm is resting keep them alive then. That way at least they are learning there job somewhat, and explain WHY they would of died if you haden't been there. If they continue to get in the same situation, some only learn by example LET THEM DIE!! Seriously, its called "Training". BLM's especially, they gonna over nuke, you HAVE to let them die or they will never learn to control that habbit and will get pissy and bitchy when a pl isn't there babying them.
If your gonna pl, at least train the people the do there job while your doing it instead of giving them a free ride.
 
BTW i think you all are nOObs for not knowing you don't really NEED a party till MAYBE early/mid 20's is when xp/hr can pick up.
Hell a couple melee and a whm or rdm can clean through toughs and average 4-5k/hr easy LEARN new ways if you don't like the old. you wana kick back and take your time lvling 10-22 go to VD's, you want to get through it fast FIND A NEW WAY TO LVL. I very rarely lvl with a full 6 person party in dunes, if i'm there its not to get killer xp/hr its because i'm doing something else somewhere and its a free ride of xp for me on a job that i may or may not really ever care about but it would be nice to have it lvld a little bit to see what its like.
