Dusk Gloves or O Kote

The second part was directed at Redshift.
I also said not to bother with Koga Tekko if you don't plan to find a way to switch it in and out. There are plenty of ninjas who do that, and I was offering him a suggestion to make the piece useful. Notice the "Don't bother UNLESS" part. Watch, I misquote you too.

First of all don't bother with KT+1. my advice was, and still is bad

One slight difference there, is that I quoted your entire post, unaltered on every occasion.

You on the other hand have changed the wording of my post.

For emphasis, since it seems to not registered:

Saying don't bother with KT+1 is bad advice. There's no 'unless' that saves that statement. If you have them, you use them.

It's easy to check the in game clock, you don't need a third party program or a macro to do it.

"find a way to switch the it[KT+1] in and out." Switching a piece of gear in and out requires a third party program? You don't need to have a macro to switch one piece of hand gear.

At this point you're just trolling.
I think it's pretty self explanatory that by "find a way to change them out", I didn't mean find a way to type /equip hands "Dusk Gloves". You're taking what I'm saying incredibly literally. There is an unless in that statement, you just seem so hellbent on using a situational piece of gear that you're the one giving bad advice.
If after an hour or so of meriting, like me, you start to get forgetful and lazy, then don't use Koga Tekko. At that point I forget to check the game clock and my status bar so it does no good anyway. Regardless, I merit in Noritsune Kote but that's a different story in itself.

I think you need to reassess what trolling is, because you are using it incorrectly.

If you can't engage in a discussion without using petty insults, I suggest you stop posting entirely.

I expect people to be competent at this game, and using the best gear available to you at the correct times falls into that category. All gear is situational, there is no "1 gear set for all uses", some moreso than others.

Something as simple as equipping a superior item during the Dusk to dawn game hours isn't difficult by any stretch of the imagination. Yes you said "unless" etc. It doesn't matter, read my prior posts again.

Everything you have posted so far has been bad information, and I will keep pointing out such posts, in this thread, as long as you keep making them.

It makes absolutely no difference what you said at this point in time, because this part (above) should tell everyone exactly what I was referring to.

You're just pointing out the obvious.
Koga Tekko +1 is a superior hand equipment, I never disagreed. If you use Koga Tekko during the night, and Dusk/something else during the day, you are maximizing your equipment, I never disagreed. Checking the game clock is easy, I never disagreed.
So what are you arguing about, exactly?

If you've gotten lazy and have forgotten, we were all arguing about Dusk Gloves vs OKotes. Should we create a new thread about Koga Tekko (+1)?

No we shouldn't, and this isn't the place for throwing insults at each other. Let's keep the discussions clean of that shit please.

Mansin if someone can't stay aware of their own gear for the duration of the full party and know what's going on at all times then they shouldn't be partying in all honesty.

For the discussion, if you are having to choose for one or the other because of gil situations then go for dusk gloves, as jamal said before, it will help you overall in all but one type of situation, and on that situation o kote don't help you either. That situation is kiting. For tp always choose haste first.

For the second situation brought up, koga tekko all the way, if possible get the +1. Always find a way to keep time duly noted so you don't end up wearing a ninjutsu only peace. If you can't handle that, find another job to go play.
