Dynamis Northland/Outland droprate observations

Well, i'm assuming you guys all did your runs before today's maintenance?

RidersOfRohan only had 5 drops (WAR, WHM, MNK, NIN, NIN) as of just now, which seems pretty crappy in comparison to what everyone else is posting. On average we've had 3-5 drops prior to the update, no change for us. =/

(Btw, this was for Xarcabard)
 
until you see some sort of graph showing drops over a decent length of time it's hard to say how much has changed in order to compare it to pre update.


17 in beau...kinda sounds like you're stretching it no offense but statistically anything can happen

If possible and if people are willing to keep posting their statistics I'll be following this for at least the next 2 weeks to get an overview on the increase.
I am very aware I won't be able to get an exact number from this because there are a lot more conditions at play here then what I am asking for, but it should be enough for a decent overview of over all droprates.
And I will make a graph as soon as I have enough data to make one.

and they do that when i quit dynamis after 250+ runs...

If what the first quote says is true, this was before the update maitenance(second one). Would be possible they either ninjafixed it, or might not of touched it after all.

Need more information from other Linkshells till we can correctly assume what was before, still as it is after the first initial update.

Kinda sad if they 'fixed' it tho. =/
 
Hard to say. You have to realize that drop rates are completely random tho'. I mean, Encore had at least one utterly ridiculous Beaucedine run where we racked up relic in the 12-13 pieces years ago.

It's also related to how much you kill, and Xarc involves more running and less killing than most zones.

This because I don't believe linkshells change strategies and pulling paths overnight.
 
I used to run with Kicamos shell, PA. I was told the very first mob in Beaucidine dropped TWO AF. DRK and BLU. And from what I can remember the average was 4-5 drops in Beaucidine and there's been times where 0 would drop.
 
That sounds about right. We don't get very many drops, and I don't think anyone has really culled through and updated our statistics. I'm in PA too.
 
yeah we dont get many it seems. so it was was a good night overall.

Sorry, I should have clarified who I was talking to. I was referring to the possibility of a ninja update from SE changing the drop rates post-patch. With such a limited pool of post-patch runs to draw upon, it's hard to say if they in fact, did, or if those runs were simply more lucky.
 
Everyone in the LS shat bricks when the first mob dropped BLU & DRK. We got 10 total drops all night. 5 being the new AF, and 5 being the previous AF. 3 COR Jackets dropped.
COR maybe the new BST for us. >.> We also got 2-3 BST drops.

Our normal average was 2-3 on northlands.

I'm looking forward to dreamlands later this month. n.n
 
3 cor? i thought we got 4. i could be wrong though.
 
Regardless of if you believe in TH4 or not this may also have an over all effect on the outcomes of drops. Some shells take a large number of TH4 (I can think of a time when my shell would attempt to have a TH4 in each party). Just a thought on something else that may need to be taken into consideration. Also something else that may or may not be myth is new/full moon. I know this is all stuff that can't statistically be taken into consideration. For now I'm just hoping that the new AF drop in cities like they are in northlands. Espically since I'm prediciting a small influx of ppl wanting those AF's signing up for Dynamis again.
 
Well if it helps, our shell had TH4 for 2/3.5hrs of the run.

4/5 of the AF dropped from NMs, and all 3/5 dropped while our THF was with us. (Too bad he had to leave early, the last 2 AF were the piece he was up for lotting too! ><)

My guess is that the little maintenance they did yesterday morning might of also changed the drop rate so that it wasn't "that" good (10+ AF)

But like its been said, we could of just had the "unlucky" run. That, or all you guys that ran before hogged all the AF drops!:shok:
 
Yeah but you did Xarca, most of the others were from Beau, ours included, which was after the emergency maintenance. I'm sure Xarca's won't have drop rates like Beau, because it's more running generally then killing.

Yeah I saw that 2x NIN dropped. You ruined my day.
