Dynasty Warrior Gundam is released today :D Anyone picking it up besides me?
 
Definitely picking it up as soon as it makes its way out here. Stupid shipping taking time.
 
In a few weeks once I get paid. Ended up picking up Samurai Warriors 2 for like... $14 at Gamestop used. Add in more bills, and I'm broke. lol
Definitely getting it though. Can we play online multiplayer?
 
I plan to pick it up tomorrow after work, assuming gamestop has it. Granted I'm getting the PS3 version. But hey, 6 of one, half-dozen of another. The only thing that I'm not looking forward to is the lack of Tallgeese.

Not sure if there's online multiplayer and I don't feel like checking at the moment, but if there is, I can only hope that it can be played cross-platform.
 
Just a little update, I picked up the game today, but haven't had a chance to play it yet. But I can confirm that, at least for the PS3 version, multiplayer is only 2 player offline.

Weird combo. Seems more like a rental to me though. Only so much I can take of Dynasty Warrior type hack and slash games, even if they do make them Gundams this time lol

Im enjoyinh the game very much :D (all be it i am a huge Gundam fan) But its really neat how the pilot ant the Mecha level diffrently and after you beat a said storyline you can pick any moble suits to play in that storyline.

for example i just put Amaro in the Gundam Epyon, and reaked MEGA havok on Oddessa base, Or put Judua Ashta in the Wing Zero and for the solo fight agianst Haman.. Its REALLY neat all the combos of Pilots and Mechs.


Also the storyline in the original is ok i guess. with the last fight on Heero's Campaign faceing Millardo, with some of the same Dialog from the TV series durring their final showdown in Ep50 example :
Heero: Dont you get it Zechs ALL Humanity is weak!
Millardo: I still refuse to acknoledge i am one of the weak people in the world.


Its little things like that that make this game fun for me
 
Have...to...wait...until...Friday...
Picking up Stranglehold and Dw: Gundam. ^_^ Then Halo comes out and I'm set for the rest of the Winter.
I'll quit my job and hole myself up in my room playing video games... Just like my little brother! And girlfriend! >_> Oh wait.... That's the reason why I work so much...
 
I like it so far. I think I've killed around 10k suits. (you can check in the options menu or something like that, I forget.)

My biggest problem is that when one of your friends is dying, and you fly in for a daring and sexy rescue, they stick around and keep fighting. Then, they get killed by your enemy's special attack, and you fail the mission. Frustrating.

The thrusting is awesome (naughty), the combos are pretty sweet, and I like how your suit becomes more responsive as you level up.

Anyone try the co-op yet?

Hahaha yeah. Its so awesome watching a hundred suits die at the same time.
