Yeah I'm seeing conflicting dates everywhere and on my DVR it says 14 now. I thought it was originally 14.
 
Are there going to be streaming conferences as well? I hate watching them on TV, even if they're commercial free you've always got some obnoxious logo flying around the screen. And if there are commercials...

I will be watching on G4 and I don't remember any logo flying around so I think you're safe with that. On top of that, they limit commercials and carefully. I don't remember missing any information.
 
Bah>< I hope I can find an online thing for the conference cause I'm working atm and can't freaking watch crap :(

New 360 looks sexy. Might have to pick one up.
 
Anyone else disappointed that they started off E3 on G4 with some crappy Spiderman game that looks horrible?
 
The xbox conf was very underwhelming. They spent forever on Kinect, which I'm sorry is kinda cool but I wouldn't really care to get it. The games for it don't seem like my kind of thing.

The graphics on that are so lol.
 
Black Ops is looking like it is coming along nicely, Halo looks like Halo, Gears 3 looks to even bigger and more badass, MGS Rising looks interesting but hopefully there is a little more to it than just running into everyone and slicing stuff up, Kinect looked good as a menu interface but none of the games shown seem too appealing that use Kinect. The Ubisoft workout game seemed as though it may work. Oh! The Harmonix dance game actually could be some drunken good times hidden in there.
 
Great showing from MS for me. I love the idea of ESPN access on my 360 though for the most part ESPN on tv is lol... Still i will take what sports support i can get at this point on a console. Kinect proves again that it is real yet i am sure there will be drones that either still think its fake or now act like they just dont care. It doesnt do anything to wow my life at the moment but there are limitless possibilities from this beautiful thing. Gears 4 player co-op is gonna be the shit... Lets hope for those dedicated servers. Reach is going to be the game of games for me. I think it was a mistake to start the show with CoD: Black ops though... I almost fell asleep during the chopper ride. Also i am no dancer... But i can see the hundreds of japanese, the same kids in line at our dance dance games in the arcade, giving off one big cheer as they showed that dance game for Kinect. Great show for me.
 
Oh yeah. The ESPN could really get me to a point where I get rid of cable/satellite. I just need to see exactly how the majority of live games are handled.

The whole time they were talking i was going.. "This is going to cost me more money." Well its part of the XBL gold membership. Such a great sounding deal but as you said i need to see how live feeds are handled.
 
I don't have gold but if they can make me comfortable with getting rid of a $50 a month bill I'll gladly upgrade to gold. The only thing really keeping me on satellite is sports, HBO, UFC (Spike), Discovery, Syfy. Knocking sports off that list will get me a good ways closer to getting free of that subscription.
 
Watching E3 right now and so far it's okay, but I also have some high expections.
 
MS conference was underwhelming to me, Gears of War 3 and Black Ops look good though, as well as Fable 3.

More looking forward to the EA/Ubisoft pressers later today (Beyond Good and Evil 2, more info! and maybe the Insomniac multi-plat) and the Sony/Nintendo pressers tomorrow.

I agree about the expectations. I think we probably all do. So far I haven't seen anything too awesome. Metal Gear Rising "Cut" tags made me 'lol' but the gratuitous violence of it was actually impressive. I don't know if I would have gone with the same advertising tag of cut... cut at will... etc etc because it seemed pretty lacking in comparison to the visuals of the game trailer.
