Thread for information about this.
From what I've gathered so far from my attempt, is all mobs of the same family are partied, and mobs will randomly spawn in the room and despawn occasionally. Mob are high lvl too, even chigoes can take some good dmg before dying, the seem to be about dynamis lvl. Sleep doesnt seem to be very good in Einherjar either.

The chigoe have really high evasion without sushi, might apply to the other mobs too, our little group of 9 didn't manage to kill much. >.>;

*edit*

Oh yea, Sleep looks to be pretty ineffective with all the ghosts and whatnot floating around, bring a BRD. Prefereably multiple BRDs.

If you drop the lamp... you get kicked from the area. This can save you exp if your party wipes. >_>;

Chigoes are often high evasion anyway, it's just that most of the ones you encounter are extra low level so you don't notice.

Protip: Dont go with less than 30 people and expect to get anywhere.

This isnt piddly like Limbus or Assault, this is like Dynamis, only crazier.

eh...

Fun, yet insane... I say fun because I enjoy seeing my character die sometimes. Reminded me of a limbus boss with a really heavy dynamis pull.

Our failure was mainly do to not having poison pots (We got dark elementals in our which spammed sleepga, along with other goodies and cant be slept with sleepga), and not having enough brds or any blus to sleep the crowd. Brds, Blus, Blms depending on what you get are a must to hold everything still while u kill it. Even then it wont be the easiest thing ever. If you get blu's I'd reccomend blm sub and equipping every type of AoE sleep ya got and saving ele seal for resists ;) Gl all trying in these first days!

Edit: We did Rossweise's chamber by the way

So apparently if you aggro one mob, every mob of that type links and rushes in for a horrible gang-bang.

Ohhh perfect screenie! My wipe collection is nearly complete.

We chose to do Siegrune's Chamber, which has 1 Bird and a ton of Skeletons.

From what i read afterwards if you kill the bird it drops a crate with random items like RR, Hi-Pots etc, we never bothered with it and it disappeared at some point.

The skeletons all linked but our 2 bards managed to deal with them after some intial kiting around. Since we weren't expecting a link.

I suggest many /whm for this as there is alot of blindga, but as a RNG with my regular gear setup and meat i hit just fine for having blind on alot.

The boss, a Wivre:

He spams his haste/berserk buff alot, then when lower i don't know if coincidence or not but it started spamming a very heavy attack down move. So as i said alot of /whm's to deal with that. Also does this other move i never noticed the name of which hits hard but can be blocked with 3 shadows. Has alot of HP but is easy.

This is the crap we got from the run. Also 1 Skeleton dropped an XP scroll which gave about 460xp.

Oh yeah and i think we had about 22 people total, so you don't need 30+ for every room.

We attempted Siegrune's chamber with 23 people just a second ago..

We had about 30 bats and 30 hounds, with Morbol Emperor in the middle...

We started with the bats, pulled them, /assist tank, ES sleepga II and Lullaby, it was working well, we killed 3 or 4 of them before anyone even took damage.

Somehow it all went to hell though...the bats woke up, no one tried to sleep again, and we wiped...

After that, we didn't have enough time so we just tried out new tactics...like having a PLD with crimson leggings kite with a whm while the party pulls off as he runs around the room.

It worked well for a while, but I think the linking mobs aggro any resting character. It could work with a little more information on how these mobs act.

I dunno, all I know is I want me some new PLD armor! :D

Just did this with a completely random pick up group to see how it goes down. Depending on the random mobs that pop, it can be really easy or really hard.

Luckily we got doomed mobs, pulled them first and dealt with them fairly easily. Then our puller managed to grab the Morbol Emperor on accident when we wern't ready. He spams bad breath, which kinda sucked (ok it really sucked). We got him to 80% or so before wiping.

Im assuming fighting this guy at distance (rng's, blm's, etc) while having a pld or nin kite him would make this fight really easy. The draw in could be an issue though.

He has waaaay to much HP to kite...you'll run out of time for sure.

There has been speculations that the boss doesn't link with the other mobs, so I wonder if you win if you can manage to just kill the boss, or at least get the Armoury Crate.

Also, it's been confirmed that a H abj feet dropped on Alexander...if I'm not mistaken that's the gold/black adaman. Well...can't be sure if it's confirmed...just what I heard.

All mobs must be killed to for chest to pop. Too easy if it only took killing the boss.

But if you kill boss first, its safer to train mobs around.

bad part about having those new abjs drop right away.... at 500 points a run, it takes 10 runs to get 5k to get the item youneed to craft the cursed gear! (I'm pritty shur its the items you get from the NPC).

Yeah, and all things are pointing toward killing the mobs weakening the boss :\

Though the wivre was pretty much zerged, magic did fine on it and mages were able to, for the most part, stay completely out of AOE. If you wanted to go with less people and couldn't spam erase for aoe attack down (a lot of the melees weren't getting it) and dispel for granite skin, you should make sure you got a SC going. T4 magic did around 700 so you could easily take off big chunks with SC and AM2.

Crosis is trying to steal a base. The scroll gave 440 XP omg nitpick.

Think one of the hardest parts is being prepared for every situation lol. We weren't ready for the sleepga chances, I tried my best to run out of range and curaga my pt after they start casting but with 15 around it wasn't doable. Poison pots would of really helped us out alot. According to some of our members while we were half wiped, kiting works very well with the elementals, as 1 nin was able to kite about half of them for a good while, we just couldn't deal with leftovers as most our mages were dead at that point so sleepga ran rampant.

We ran with 20 people, it seems doable with about as many as we went, just needed a clearer strategy. We saw the bird too, but were wiped and couldn't fight it, last 5mins we tried to zerg boss, but elementals eventually got to us again.
