Elegy...

[Faedryth]

Ok I just got Elegy on Bard last night. I am just rather curious why everyone thinks it is so great. Does it stack with Slow or is it stronger than that spell or what? I mean yeah being able to take care of Slow is nice, but not THAT impressive.

the first Elergy isnt "all that" But the second is.

Hey!

First of all, elegy does stack wif Slow.

Second, Marajade was totally correct in saying that Carnage Elegy is a bajillion times better than the first one...

Especially better if you use it with an Earth Staff, you can clearly see the mob getting very...very...very slow.

Anyways, in conclusion, it IS all that.

Cheers

It's better than the other slows because it can be enhanced with the proper instrument(horn+1) which gives +2 elegy. The first brd slow with the +2 alone is more potent than any slow in the game minus brd's improved version at lvl 60. And that's why it kicks ass.

{All Right!} Thanks for the info guys. I didnt know it was so potent. Makes me look forward to 40 for my horn and Carnage Elegy (such a badass name too)!

Rock on! I can't wait until my sunday static hits 60. And I can say from experience that of course slow will help any tank, but having a very powerful slow REALLY helps out with ninja tanks. When I ding 60 my ninja tank will never get hit again
