My Int is somewhere around 105
105 INT is largely
above the INT of most (if not all) of End-ame mobs. For info, except imp-type and soulflayer-type mobs, which have 110+ INT, NM or not, most will sit between 60 and 90. I found the int of some mobs here (
http://robonosto.blogspot.com/search/label/magic).

So what about beastmen "kings" and HNMs? Bahamut ("The Wyrmking Descends") is reported to have 115 INT (from Studio Gobli, if you can actually find the documentation). (Bahamut is sentient, right? Check.) Also Jormungand is reported to have 120 INT (also from Studio Gobli). (Perhaps the example of Jormungand motivated the 120 INT figure?) Other than that, I have no other information.
Conclusion ? Stacking INT for the purpose of matching the "magic" 120 INT number doesn't improve your BLM in any way (beside obvious damage). Higher level mobs resist a lot, regardless of what INT you have.
There are 2 reasons for matching the target's INT
* First, check the damage formula for magic on the wiki. When you exceed the target's INT, MAB becomes twice as efficient. It's only beneficial on mob that don't resist.
* INT does reduce resist rates, but generally not as good as magic acc or skill. *If* you have less int than the mob +10, adding 1 int is like adding 1 magic acc or 1 elemental skill. *If* you have more int than target's INT+10, then 2 int=1mac=1skill.
For exemple if you have 70 INT and hesitate between errant body (10 INT) and weskit (5 skill, 5mab) , and nuke a mob with 90 INT, errant body will be better because it give 10 magic acc vs only 5 from weskit. However if you have 100 INT, it's different. Say you go nuke Tinnin, errant body is only 5 magic acc, just like weskit. In this case weskit is better.
conclusion : if you want to improve your BLM gear on endgame mobs get magic accuracy and skill gear first, and only stack int once you know you'll cap your resist rate.
