But you forgot Einherjar...h34r:
Oh... my bad.... Forgot the 0.0000000000000000000000000001% chance at getting it in Einherjar... lol
But you forgot Einherjar...h34r:
Duelist's Chapeau (9) - Such an awesome piece and it's not an easy drop, but considering how many of them are around these days (everyone and their mother can get into Xarc now), only a 9.
Ebisu Fishing Rod (1) - Sorry fishers, I know this is nigh-impossible to get, but it's not something I'd think of as an END-GAME e-peen item. You're not going to become more effective at your job with this baby, you're just going to look cool to the small percentage of people who understand fishing.
Homam Gambieras (7) - Meh, enough people do Limbus by now, it's just luck based on whether your piece drops or not.
Homam Manopolas (7) - Same as the Gambieras.
Morrigan's Robe (10) - The best body piece in the game for all three jobs that can use it by far, and definitely harder to get than Dalmatica considering the shit drop rates on everything involved. This thing made me reconsider quitting the week it came out.
Nashira Manteel (4) - Maybe I'm forgetting something about this, but as much as I love my Drains, I can't put it higher than 4.
Nashira Seraweels (7) - I believe this is the best enfeebling leg piece for RDMs?
Usukane Sune-Ate (10) - Hard to get like the Morrigan's Robe, and insanely useful.
Valor Surcoat (8 ) - Same reasoning as the Chapeau, but this one just isn't quite as game breakingly good, imo.
Vampiric Claws (0) - What the hell, I thought this was end game e-peen >_> There's not much e-peen in something that'll probably get replaced in a few levels.
Just to note Ajs, Vampiric Claws are meant for various endgame situations. They are the only weapon available for MNK that does slashing damage. Situational, but it's those situations that could either render MNK useless, or useful.
Just because you need the entire set to make use of the additional +5 or +8 magic attack bonus, doesn't make it less great. The body in itself is better then pretty much all other body pieces for RDM, BLM and BLU. The set bonus just makes it better.I know it's a great body for all mentioned jobs. I know it comes with Magic Atk. Bonus+5 and INT+8 But to fully make use of it ("Magic Atk. Bonus") you have to own the whole set. That's why I didn't give it a perfect score. ^^
I tought Dalmatica was easier to get than Morrigan's, but after Phraust's input I take back that assumption. But after all, I have yet to see one Morrigan's. ; ;
I already explained it twice Ajs, you too busy worrying about your small penis to read up? :wink:oh hey, that makes sense. Guess I'll change that to a 4. Thanks for info
(I care too much about these things for someone that's quit)
wave 3
Duelist's Chapeau (6) not very rare anymore but really good
Ebisu Fishing Rod (5) very very rare but a fishing pole
Homam Gambieras (5) useful and sort of rare
Homam Manopolas (5) useful and sort of rare
Morrigan's Robe (6) rare but way over hyped
Nashira Manteel (1) junk
Nashira Seraweels (3) most rdm's I've met have it, nice piece though
Usukane Sune-Ate (8) very good, very rare
Valor Surcoat (5) not very rare, pretty good
Vampiric Claws (0) if I wanted slashing I'd grab one of the million wars I know
How so? it beats out any body for rdm and blm, and arguably blu.
bzzztz. wrong. it only beats dalm for RDM if you want to be a meleeRDM. however for BLM and BLU, its definitely tons better.
preferably, if you have both dalm and morrigans, you could wear dalm, use the mp with buffs, then put on morrigans for nuking on BLM or melee on BLU.
Why do you mention MP and not the fucking -50 HP from dalmatica ? I use AF+1 body for max MP, which give MP+34 and no -HP and it's only 16 mp less than dalmatica.
Unless you're a taru, you're not going to really care about the HP loss. Plus, dalmatica has refresh effect, so comparing it to anything that doesn't have refresh is a waste of time; as dalmatica could have -50 MP and still be better than a piece with MP on it.Why do you mention MP and not the fucking -50 HP from dalmatica ? It does matter still. Full Zenith, an Elvaan RDM would end up with more MP then HP.Unless you're a taru, you're not going to really care about the HP loss. If you're wearing full zenith, you're an idiot. The only remotely good pieces are hands and body, so wearing anything else is just stupid. It does matter still. Full Zenith, an Elvaan RDM would end up with more MP then HP.
So you figured out the point, pat yourself on the back. Auto refresh will trump any +mp gain on the body, and if you need other stats, you macro swap the other gear on then take it off. Vermillion cloak still retains it's usefulness for just that reason: you can actually change your gear for each spell. It's obviously the least useful, but it's better than no auto-refresh at all.You say comparing Dalmatica to something that doesn't have Auto Refresh is a waste of time. In that case, the only things you can compare it to is Vermillion and Dalmatica.
This is exactly what people were telling pchan, but the logic just isn't penetrating. Since he's your friend, you explain it to him.No, Morrigan's Robe isn't that useful for RDM. The use in it is that it squeezes 2 pieces of gear together, thus potentially saving you some inventory space. It is a lot more useful for BLM and BLU.
I've never said its that good for RDM. Sure, it is awesome for RDMes, but there's other pieces that can do the same. It doesn't give anything "unique" for RDM. It does just that for BLU, though, hence why its the arguably best TP and Savage Blade piece for BLU.If you're wearing full zenith, you're an idiot. The only remotely good pieces are hands and body, so wearing anything else is just stupid.

Unless of course you're one of the 90% of red mages without a relic hat, then you're not losing anything by having a vermillion cloak on for the auto-refresh.And Vermillion is, any way you look at it, 100% useless since it occupies your head slot. Which means no Auto Refresh from Duelist's Chapeau.
