As far as shark bite going postal above 150 tp...I've been in parties with slow partners. I know what shark bite does. 100 tp is 150 tp is 200 tp...let's never forget that strength modifies shark bite because shark bite is an attack, and with your setup...you've got none. Attack modifies shark bite because shark bite is an attack. With your setup...you've got none. At L70 what do you hit dhalmels for? 6? I know thief, and I know what eating sushi does to a thief who doesn't compensate. You can't fool me. I know the job.

Why do you think you hit for 1300 with double minuet while hitting for 750 without it? Because it's all about the tp? No. It's not.

I dont need slow partners to get 150-200 TP

True, but since there are so many types of players playing this game, you gotta try to keep the interest of everyone. Some items, though not necessary for everyday play, are out there for the taking for those players that are willing to dedicate the time and effort to achieve them.

But we all get sucked into this... "OMG it's teh best item for that level, I gotta get it!!!" mindset, and it really only hurts ourselves.

In other words, the PCC may be a godly piece of equipment, and damn right it should be, because you had to watch Law and Order while mashing the button on your controller for so long to wait for the creature to pop... :lol:

...but you and I, Dante... don't need one to level. Niether does a Thief, or a Ranger, or a Dark Knight. It's just something cool to showoff that you accomplished something great, whether you beat the NM yourself, or you raised the 10+mil gil to buy one.

It was/is absolutley a status symbol if nothing else. And I think it should have stayed that way...

Accuracy is based off DEX, Weapon skill level, and Equipment. For every 2 dex, you get 1 accuracy. For every weapon level, you get 1 accuracy and attack(or is it two? I forget.)

Racial Accuracy and Racial Attack are fucking cop-outs, there is no such thing as racial accuracy/attack. Being 4 dex under anyone else means you're missing 2 accuracy. 2 Accuracy isn't going to mean shit.

Like I said. Accuracy has a drop off. You can never get 100%. The closer you get to 100%, the more accuracy+ you'll need to actually make a difference. Just like Attack. Attack has a plateau at which it can no longer boost your damage, and you'll need more STR to push it through that barrier(and ofcourse, there are damage caps on weapons.)

Stacking accuracy is bogus, it's all in your head. Just like how a long time ago, everyone was hung up on stacking Attack until people realized Attack by itself does not increase your damage after a certain point.

I as well brought this up several pages ago, Peregrine has an issue with selective reading though, as I'm sure you've noticed. He also pulls 'numbers' and 'facts' from his ass, which is also highly apparent.

It's pretty much these two things that everyone hates. As long as you aren't totally half-assing your way to 75 (ala - gilseller method, ie: lizard armor at lvl 40) then people are pretty much happy. SH isn't quite required, although it is nice, and I personally wouldn't want to xp without it. PCC, even less 'required'.

It is not us who are the elitists pere - it is you who is now saying that anyone who eats sushi and wears acc is 'gimp'.

The truth about Accuracy on IT's:

All you need is abut 50 Acc to be able to eat attack food. You may TP slow, but you're normal hits and weapon skills will definitely show great improvement. I don't think this would apply as much to Thief, since they use those dinky shit daggers and they're mainly there for the skillchain, but yeah other than that... pop a fuckin mithkabob or Bison Steak.

can a person even get a SH at 60 without paying for it. I would like one for my rdm but i dont have 3-6mil to spend on a SH. The one thing I cant see is strider boot <25-30mil> and Enhanceing sword<16mil> and Ebow<12mil> and there 1-2 job items. It still beguile me that there are enough rdm that pay 16 mil for a enhancing sword to keep the price that high. I would love one because I love to melee just as much as I like to cast but 16mil lol take me forever to far that :shock:
