"Expanding" Endgame Linkshells

It might seem significant but those 6 points that person is recieving they wouldn't be recieving normally. That is also 6 hours we probably won't have them doing other events with the LS as well. Now this person does dynamis with us recieves 6 points instead of no points for those 6 hours they spend doing dynamis. So while it seems like a significant amount that person would probably normally be only recieving 19 points a week instead.
This doesn't make any sense. "If they didn't come, they wouldn't get the 6 points so it doesn't matter?" That's about all I could get, and that's guessing at your point, which is far from clear.

The point was that even at 25 points earned per week, 25% of those are from dynamis. That is a big enough chunk to actually give people an advantage in lotting for gear, especially when it's added up over months. His point is that while you're not saying "join our dynamis group or gtfo of the linkshell," you are giving a noticeable disadvantage to those who do not attend, so you are passively forcing them to attend. You're not outright giving them a choice, but if they don't, they will fall further behind and won't be able to get their gear as quickly. That's his point, he expressed it clearly.

Everyone who has relic in Limitless earned it by funding runs, no one gets anything for free.
They also bought a large portion of their coins as well, it wasn't entirely funded through dynamis.

I know exactly who left Encore to run with us. I will give you a clue Rappa the points wasn't the reason they left.

If things are so bad there then why does your gf/fiancee/wife/w.e. still run with us?

Yes they are getting an extra 6 points. So now instead of 19 points a week they are getting 25 points. The thing is in order to do that and keep adding up points is to not need anything from dynamis as well. It might sound funny to be charged from what Rappa says are lolcommoncittydrops. The points do even out in the end unless you need nothing from dynamis. In which case you wouldn't be doind dynamis with us or any other shell.

Did I say that things were bad? Show me where I said things in your shell were bad. But since you want to come at me like that you might want to talk to her.

When your members joined a dynamis shell prior to your shell, yes it is unfair to make them choose. I know a few of your members that left their dynamis shell because you threatened to break their linkshell. And again, its wrong to demand that people leave their other end game commitments, last i checked your linkshell was sky only. You had people sign up under the commitment that you were running sky. You never stated in your recruitment thread, "OH HAY GUYS WE ARE FORCING U TO DO DYNAMIS WITH US TOO."

Hail hitler anyone?

*EDIT* if these people are truly ur friends, why the hell you threaten to break their pearls. thats messed up.... Some friend you are

I never threathened to break anyone's linkshell. It was stated by other officers if a members was not ready to do end game events and cannot be dedicated they're free to drop the LS. 1 Person has made a personal choice not to do end game just yet because he would like the time to exp and level other jobs. I've personally talked with this person and told him when he's ready to do end game again he is always welcomed back. Be realistic here how can 1 person force anyone to do anything? To this day we do not penalize or give extra points to those who do or don't do dynamis with us. Dynamis is in a category of it's own. WE HAVE SIMLPLY ASKED members to consider switching because the MAJORITY wants 1 shell and ALL members to do everything in-house TO STOP SCHEDULING CONFLICTS. I have never forced people to leave I told them all to THINK and CONSIDER IT. To this day there are still people who have scheduling conflicts because of their prior engagements BUT we deal with the missing members and Keep doing what we do.

Who cares IF we started out with a sky only shell WE HAVE A DEMAND AMONG THE MEMBERS TO EXPAND and that it what we are doing.

You basically contradicted yourself. You said you dont enforce dynamis, yet you tell people if they cant be dedicated members to have them drop their pearls....

Doesn't take a moron to see that contradiction. That's an indirect way of asking members to leave if they're not going to commit to your Dynamis LS, so yeah you did leave them no choice really.

Good job ( '-')b

WE DON"T ENFORCE DYNAMIS... and a dedicated member is someone who can attend a majority of the events in this case this person was not ready for all of the hours we put in doing end game events. Why have people in a shell that do not do events with the shell? We are not a social LS we do events and if someone is not ready for that they can drop the pearl and we understand. We are still currently friends with the person that dropped his pearl we understand that he's not ready and he understands that by him being in our shell and not being productive that there's no reason for him to be in there.

You may not enforce dynamis, HOWEVER YOU do not allow your linkshell members to be in other Dynamis linkshells...

By telling your members that if they are unable to commit to all events, that they should drop their pearl implies that they are not going to be considered "committed" if they are participating in another Dynamis LS because you now host Dynamis, so this is now one of your events.

You would have no other purpose to tell your members this, without the underlying intention to get them in a position where they would feel they're going to be descriminated if they don't comply.

Word it however you want, but you've just confirmed exactly the reason your LS was being flamed was in fact true.

Rone is doing a great example of proving my points for me. It's all about attitude when it comes to things like this.

6 points extra per week will give a lotting edge over some people who won't get the extra points over time. I think adding the points made in dynamis to the sky points is simply stupid due to the fact that dynamis and sky are different and the gears obtained are totally different.

Let's face it, there are some people who do play when their schedule allows them to and then there are some who play because they don't have anything else to do. Those people who play based on their rl schedules find the end-game LS's that run at a reasonable time for them.
Some of these people may do sky, HNMs as well and finds time to fit it into their schedules to camping and farming. Some people don't have the luxury to fit in everything they want to do.

When a sky shell decides to expand into dynamis, it's a double-edged sword.
On one side, you do have a good team and you do know the people who know their jobs and you can have a good time with them.
On the other side, you probably have to ask the current members if they can quit their dynamis shells so they could join the upcoming branch. This affects the rosters for the other dynamis shells, whether you like it or not.

If your members feel that they'll have a level playing ground on the points for sky, there probably won't be this discussion/arguments. It's when they are not sure about their current standing within the expanding sky LS is when they feel antsy. Adding dynamis points to the sky points is like trying to mix water and oil. They just don't mix and therefore be kept seperate.

Maybe the expanding LS did not say "You have to join our dynamis LS or else." Quite frankly, there should be no need to come to that conclusion.
If the expanding LS decides to add the sky points and dynamis points together....then yeah. People will probably decide to leave their current dynamis shells in order to gain a "level playing field" in order to get pieces of gear from sky and stuff.
Like some people said, 6 points extra per week will add up over time.
And it is passively forcing them to leave their current dynamis shells.

To this day there are STILL MEMBERS who do dynamis with OTHER shells and we do not penalize them. Do we like it of course not, that's why we've ASKED them to migrate. In the end the choice, like I've stated before, lies with the members in question IT IS THEY"RE CHOICE to stay in their current shells or migrate over BUT like I've said before the majority of our shell just WANTS everyone under 1 shell but we cannot force ANYONE and we don't force anyone to migrate.

Lol, hey how about you address the points i'm making? Or are you going to continue avoiding them? ^^

And maybe read Rae's post, she pretty much tells you clearly how you ARE indirectly forcing your members to do your Dynamis :)

Rise was an example, vang got his shit and said GTFO.

Idiotic statement of the year. There is a point every end-game LS makes a decision, stay in sky forever, or move out into different areas. Some players wanted to challenge in HNM, most were happy being sky bums.

When sky only takes up 2-3 days a week, you need more activities to keep members happy, eventually people get bored and move on to shells that are more involved.

It happened when I was in Sora, I saw it in Perfection (Sora remake), and it happened in Rise.

Big shells will always pick hungry players from small shells that don't have the balls to advance ingame.

I've already answered this Dynamis and SKY/HNM/SEA are seperated and earn they're points differently. But like u said above the main reason we want everyone to be under one shell is this "On one side, you do have a good team and you do know the people who know their jobs and you can have a good time with them." BUT we don't force people, If the members in question would like to stay in they're current dynamis LS we can accept that and no negative action would be falling under that member.

Because you seem to continue ignoring this Rone, here it is again. Are you just not responding because its correct?
