atm u realize that there is 3 completely different stories.... lol... till you all get your stories straight... might not be the best idea to post.
Atm, do you realize you're making yourself look like a complete tool for not being prepared to at least grant me the benefit of the doubt where my own assessment and perception of events from WITHIN MY SHELL is concerned?
lol . . . gogo conspiracy head . . .
EDIT:
After having now reviewed the entirety of this thread, I can say this with near absolute certainty. The thrust of the argument being made for Rone's being some kind of power-mad nutbag is all centered around his having said, "If you don't want to be dedicated, just drop your pearl now."(paraphrase) This is in direct opposition to the fair-minded and honest leader Rone has been thus far in my experience (see that Bst with the Osode over thar? Yeah, that's me).
I never had any reason to believe this comment was being directed at anyone doing dynamis, but I had EVERY reason to believe it was being directed at a few people who chronically show up late, xp at a whim, or otherwise inconvenience an entire alliance's worth of people out of what appears to be a rather appalling lack of consideration.
Obviously (to me at least), he was talking to people he'd seen visible in the shell doing other things during scheduled events - not people who were running with their chosen dynamis shell. I can see how there may have been some misconception on that point by some present, but I know that I personally didn't take Rone to be meaning (by his "dedication statement") that everyone should either conduct ALL their end-game activities with Epitome or drop their pearl.
EVEN MOAR EDITZ(I hate making multiple posts):
Furthermore, I believe that the only reason Rone brought it up in this thread in the first place is that people were saying that they had been told to either drop dynamis or drop their pearl(or have it broken). The only thing that I have ever heard Rone say that could even re
motey be misconstrued into applying was his statement concerning dedication. As the only likely candidate for the phrase some claim as a mandate, I honestly have to give Rone props for offering it up on his own. After all, which would have looked worse - his saying it now, or someone else's saying it later? In your own minds, which would look more suspect to you?
I didn't take it to mean that, and if there were any who did, they should have voiced their objections in an open dialogue.
They didn't. Apparently they jumped to conclusions, and from what I've read in this thread, they're not the only ones who have.
