Does anyone else think that we are not alone in the universe? I watched Contact (one of my favourite movies) because I really like science fiction and like thinking about other civilizations in the universe.

I think space and the universe is so fasinating(sp) just because there is so much mystery. All that space, all those stars, planets, suns, galaxies.

So I ask you guys: do you think we are the only ones in this universe?

Seems like an awful waste of space.

The other races could not figure out the recipe for a cookie so they all were very sad. As a result they could not be bothered to reach for the stars and create civilizations because they were too depressed to do anything but try to eat circle shaped rocks with little brown speckled rocks scattered in them.
 
I'm going to humor you: if "god" only created life on earth, then no. (lmao). Ok no more bs.

Anyway, yes I believe there's life somewhere out there. 99.99...% sure.

Even just on this single planet we have hundreds of thousands of different types of species in existence.

What did it take? A star, a planet in correct proportional orbit to that star and a giant gravametric balancer we call Jupiter. 3 critical objects yields life to this level.

Granted the chances of "this" happening are slim to none, but since the universe is several billions of cubic light years, this crucial combination, or other possible combinations for life is bound to hit more than one spot in this galactic soup.

I think human beings, and life in general are a fluke.

Although I think theres a chance there is some life out there, but not so much intelligent life.
 
Supposedly tomorrow Earth is to be visited by aliens in a giant spaceship that is thousands of miles long, wide, etc. I will be interested to hear the excuses/reasons as to why it didn't happen when it doesn't happen.
 
Tomorrow/Today, we're supposedly being visited by a floating ship from the Federation of Light that'll do nothing but float. Allegedly, they come not for malevolence, but "to spread a higher vibration of love". The believers cite some weird google earth glitch as part of their proof. I've been loosely keeping up with it, but I think it would be pretty cool if at least once these medium wackos were right. I'm not holding my breath though, would be fun to see it until we realized that they just displaced a shitton of atmosphere.

I've been having dreams of something like this...but...I've never heard of it before......

I'm a believer so maybe that's why lol

Ahh, good ol crazy people. Even if nothing does happen today, I'm sure someone will see a speck in the sky and proclaim it to be the alien ship.

I feel ripped off....
 
My day has been strangely vibration-free too, how anti-climactic. I thought I felt something in the morning, but it may just have been people getting fresh on the subway.
 
 
It was cloudy here all yesterday. I bet thats their excuse as to why we didn't see anything.
