When did I say lolDRG? I believe that any well geared homam meat DRG can do very well, and my SAM's gear is mediocre, yes. I barely play it. Where is this going? I also didn't say anything about homosexuality. You keep putting shit into my mouth. And really, Jyak, I don't like the taste of shit, especially yours. Thanks though.

I haven't parsed PUP since the update but it was never really horrible if you were geared/merited appropriately.

It's real fatal flaw though is the fact that if the automaton dies the PUP is out of commission for a very long time. Yes, you can deactivate (but potentially dismiss the pet while its damaged if it gets hit and then the 20 min recast applies). That's if you're ADD spamming for maximum damage output.

Unfortunately at this point the reason most people could reasonably lolpup about is the general assortment of gear they have available to them (yes i know about usukane, but that's considerably difficult to equip yourself with than say..a haubergeon and sky gear). The automaton itself is quite a beast (and the new SS weaponskill is pretty strong) and since the howling fist chances, PUP weaponskill potential has gone up a lot. If they added real melee gear to PUP that was a step below usukane but a step or two about pahluwan PUP would be set.

That aside..wasn't this thread about SCH?

SCH was substantially underpowered compared to other mages when it was released. I'm certainly glad they didn't wait to make a sizeable impact on the job's performance like the Aht Urghan jobs, or Summoner, or Ranger. They did the right thing. My only complaint is that instead of investing in the power of the helix spells and giving them an INT bonus or reducing the tick/damage time that they just passed the tier4 spells onto the job and ignored its own specific spells. The addition of new powerful magic is welcome, but I wish that they would have tuned some other stuff as well or maybe even instead.

Now, I don't know what you are insinuating. Either you're stating that the screen was with Fire Bonus (which I'm sure it is), or you're saying its without Fire Bonus. If its with Fire Bonus, you're only disproving your own argument more. If you're stating its with Fire Bonus, you're still proving that the first screen he provided is true.

That first pic was a damage onry shot. No where in it did it say/show that there was no weather mod. The only thing we have to go on is Pchan's word that there was no weather mod, so no, that pic proves nothing.

The second pic proves it. The second pic which has a much higher damage, obviously because of the day bonus meaning that if the original had any bonus, it would have been just as high. Since you are still arguing it's a fake several pages after the second was released without realizing something as simple as that, is well... not very flattering on your part.

The second pic proves only the second pic, which I'm not arguing about. The first pic could have been a partial resist on a weather/day mod, but Pchan can't prove that it isn't the case because it is ONLY a damage shot. I would seriously love to know where I said it was fake, because I honestly don't remember saying that it was.

Who can read? How many times do I have to inform idiots that sidetracking an argument and inserting facts which have nothing to do with that original point albeit correct, only shows how weak your point is? Last time I checked, soloing flans was not a prerequesite to doing damage. At what point did Pchan ever suggest soloing one was mandatory in doing damage? In fact, he even stated he needed support to do so, but you need some fact to champion a weak stance because lolPUP is about all you had. Oh, I forgot, because you know someone who plays the job? Last time I checked, you were gimp. And gimps hang out with gimps. Vis a vie...

The job has potential, it has somewhat decent gear available now although annoying as hell to obtain (Usukane) and attatchments are constantly being added to enahnce the job. However, it takes quite a bit to get it up to par because it lacks martial arts job traits and a decent melee skill, but that's not to say the job cannot do well. With the right player and a good amount of effort into gear, the job can do pretty decently in multiple areas while many jobs only focus in one. I won't say Pchan is the right person, but at the very least has decent gear to back up his damage.

I'll take any lolPUP with my RDM. Damage means nothing to me if you can't get it off =P
