The first pic could have been a partial resist on a weather/day mod, but Pchan can't prove that it isn't the case because it is ONLY a damage shot. I would seriously love to know where I said it was fake, because I honestly don't remember saying that it was.

I'm going to assume you don't know how damage works. You can't partiall resist a weather bonus. Either the weather bonus kicks in, or it doesn't. Once that is checked, it checks if the spell is resisted either nothing, 1/2, 3/4, 7/8 or 15/16.

That means the target either takes 1/2 damage, 1/4 damage, 1/8 damage or 1/16 damage.

So, if that 1580 damage screenshot was a half-resisted weather damage shot, then the original damage would have been either 3160, 6320, 12640 or 25280 damage.

Take your pick on which one is more plausible. That said screenshot was a no weather/day bonus one that was not resisted, or a partially resisted weather bonus shot that would either do 3160, 6320, 12640 or 25280 damage if it had not been resisted.

My MNK gear isn't suberb, I don't have usukane or a black belt. All I have is sky gear and a faith torque. Nor am I going to throw my opinions at your gear, due to the fact I know nothing about you, or your gear. I'm sure you could learn a thing or two from me, because you know nothing about my gear, either. And I'll gladly outdamage Pchan's PUP anyday.

I think the issue here is that Pchan is under the impression that her automaton can out-nuke BLMs, out-heal WHMs and out-DD heavy melee jobs.

well thats up to Pchan to prove one way or another. All i have been trying to say is that each job has their merits and detriments. In all honesty there are positives to having a PUP versus a SAM, especially in salvage.
