F*** SE and here SCH (PUP Discussion)

Did all this start because Ptard posted a picture of spike damage and thus claimed it made PUP a god? I can do that on Ranger. Faster, more often, more reliably, and I'm also not a massive pile of crap when i'm NOT busting out my 1300 WSs every 45-60 seconds. Also, I look way cooler in my gear than a PUP does.

Where the FUCK is the thread about how awesome I am? Huh? Screw you all I'm off to have some cake.

Yes. I couldn't for the life of me remember what the other one was called, hence why I said Hexerei Cape.

However, Hexerei Cape is also useful, as its both magical and physical damage, as opposed to only physical.

Cheviot=NQ -5% Physical Damage (-10% @Night) (100k)
Umbra=HQ -6% Physical Damage (-12% @Night) (500k)

Depending on your needs, I'd probably get umbra cape close to list on your list of stuff to buy though, but cheviot cape is definitely useful. Jelly Ring 5% + Earth Staff 15% + Cheviot Cape 5% = -25% (-30% @Night) Physical Damage and +5% Magic Damage. Situational for the Jelly Ring, of course. But BLM can easily get alot of damage reduction, paired with stoneskin and phalanx (/rdm), along with Kirin stopping for nukes, and possibly gravity if it's on him at the time. Not to mention the possibility you have herald gaiters.

All of the above can easily give time to scrape the hate off of a BLM.

Exactly. That's why I keep preaching the importance of a DEF set for mages. It is useful in a lot of situations.

And yes, like I said, it depends on what you need. Hexerei (or the H.Q which I can't remember the name of either, Hexerei +1?), for example, is very useful for things like Tiamat, Jormungand, Jailer of Love, Battleclad Chariot etc. where you are more likely to take magical damage over physical damage. Especially as a WHM where you run in to the tanks to give them Bar-spells.

Its from creating a "nerfed" version of something. Like a Nerf football is softer and less good for playing football than a real football.

Naw, if the Automaton had 1 HP you could do 9k damage. With 60% HP you could do over 3,7k. With 90% you could do over 1k

I really don't get Nerf guns. The commercials show the kids shooting eachother out in some wilderness area, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna be forced to pick up all the little bullets afterwards just to use them again.
