Nothing more needs to be said.

O_o

That's interesting... hopefully they were joking?

I'm sure he did the SJ trick. I did that as whm, seeked, when asked about it, I said I didn't have one. Made for a kickass laugh.

He doesnt have one. he wants to lvl to 75 without a subjob. However when I pted with him I needed a healer and he brought a 2nd 75 character to heal so I said ok :<

Eh...don't encourage the gimpyness...

*Shrug* you know what. That was the third best pt I've had on drk. He did his job fine, he brought the tools (2nd char 75 whm) to do it even better. So I don't really care.

So others have to suffer cause he wants to prove a point, I dont care if he brings 5 PL's he's a gimp and I hope he gets no partys. Tired of people making do with shitty players cause they have a lv 75 whm to back them up.

Except no one suffered. Our party was great. Shitty player? Probably not, he was controlling the rdm and whm. Dumb? Yes. But did it work? Absolutely.

Dual boxing you mean, I have my doubts anyone doing two things at once can perform his tasks well. And know what by accepting someone with no sub and a PL you probably did a player that had a sub out of a chance to party, and maybe a whm your level too. (not sure if you went as a 5pk or not when you got the PL)

I guess now we are all so much more accepting if a 75 whm comes with the deal, I must remember to request one of those when i am having problems seeking a party.

No, we actually went with a full pt. We were looking for a healer and someone said "hey i found a rdm". So I'm like okay cool.

Turns out it was this guy. He said he didn't have a subjob, but he was dual boxing a whm. Unlike some of you people, I'm not that narrowminded so I said I was willing to give it a try. He healed and debuffed just fine.

Maybe you can't dual box very well. But don't make the judgment that others can't.

The guy wanted to try something new, and at the same time he was willing to bring something extra to make up for it, so I honestly don't give a fuck what he does as long as he does it efficiently.

And yes, if he wasn't dual boxing the whm I probably would have kicked him. I care about whether or not my party works well.

Anyways, I'm done defending some schmuck I don't even know well. Invite him or not, its up to you. I'm already 10 levels ahead of him now so I'm all set.

Maybe I'm missing the point... or perhaps you are. I don't think this is a "He can dual box better than you" arguement. It's that not leveling a sub job is : Stupid, lazy, gimpy .... so on and so forth. It's not that people are being narrowminded and just don't like the guy. He's trying to do something... well pretty pointless and hampers other people in doing so. Sounds like you guys were hard up for a healer in the party and sadly took this guy instead of someone will to get a sub job and play as the job was intended. Maybe he can dual box fairly well. But as has been discussed before PL's can be hurtful to parties and helping people learn their proper role in a party. No matter how you slice it, not having a sub job does leave you at disadvantages.

What a moron, even if it were interesting to level to 75 without a subjob (which it isn't), "cheating" by just pling yourself there defeats the purpose of the "accomplishment". Fail/10.

How do you do the sub job trick? I think Cros once DCed and came back without a SJ. This will be ultra fun to do on bard lol.

seen a 41 rdm do that

swore to hell that he was rmt

Narrowminded? Would you accept a PLD without war sub for voke? Subjobs add so much to a characters stats he is seriously short-changing any party that accepts him, the bonus of a 75 whm thrown in just glosses over his own shortcomings.

Thats irrelvant since I have never dual boxed in my life, maybe he can quite well but thats hardly the point here, he is doing two things at once and not giving 100% effort to either job.

So you took a rdm with no sub, just because he had a 75 whm in tow to help, what a waste. Thats a kick in the teeth to any rdm thats worked on leveling a subjob so they can actually contribute to their party, heck most rdm's I know have leveled whm and blm so they can have more options if they need to main heal in a party. Not so this smuck nope he gets in on easy street cause he has a babysitter.

You need to be somewhere VERY laggy... which is kinda hard to find nowadays.
Change both your main jobs and subjobs to the same job.

I've done that before and no one paid any attention to me. I was very sad.

If you want a real challenge, level 1-75 without ever getting an exp party. Don't even have to waste anyone else's time but your own.

And to add about the subjob trick, you have to change your subjob to a job, then quickly switch your main to the same job before the job changes color in the box. Note, the job you change to has to be different from your current main and sub job when you start the trick.
