Do you really not understand that PL'ing people is partially responsible for this? If you want to dual box and PL yourself, and go without a subs job... well thats your choice. As odd as we may all find it.

But dual boxing is something very different than sneezing or scratching your nose. Dual boxing is going into a party knowing you're not 100% on one character, not a 2 second sneeze etc... As others have said, to each their own, but you've got to understand this is very out of the norm and well not exactly playing to the full potental. So yeah, expect to have some people tell you how they feel about it.

Thats irrelvant since I have never dual boxed in my life, maybe he can quite well but thats hardly the point here, he is doing two things at once and not giving 100% effort to either job.

So you took a rdm with no sub, just because he had a 75 whm in tow to help, what a waste. Thats a kick in the teeth to any rdm thats worked on leveling a subjob so they can actually contribute to their party, heck most rdm's I know have leveled whm and blm so they can have more options if they need to main heal in a party. Not so this smuck nope he gets in on easy street cause he has a babysitter.

I was reading this at work and thought I'd pipe in on this bit of banter. The argument for the PLD sans /war is irrelevant as nobody would take the pld in that shape. The missing sub job for RDM really isn't that bad since they needed a RDM and none were seeking; If I read that correct.

PLD minus voke is pretty bad. RDM minus /whm (bam dualboxed whm) is not so bad. Forgive me I'm not a RDM so I'm not entirely sure what all the subs do for you guys but I know /whm is one of them and he brought one along. You just can't cast protectra and shellra and all the goodies that are party only unless RDM main gets that stuff. Again not sure.

It's not a kick in the teeth to any RDMs who put the effort in a subjob as there were no RDMs seeking. Therefore, this gimpy RDM who we are talking about didn't take a real RDM's spot. It sounds like he was filler material.

Personally, I'd have never invited him based off of the missing sub and on the powerlevel issue. I don't like PLs. If I'm in a party that has one, I'll stay and not grip but that's only if obtaining parties are difficult at the time.
 
Occam's Razor: If you see a subjobless level 75, he used the laggy Change Jobs in the Mog House trick.

i dont blame PL's for other's stupidity. i blame the player themself since its their char's. my whm might consider a PL to most people. but to me.. its just to make up for my no SJ thingy. i still do every part of my job as rdm when im in parties. and when there's a debuff needed as /whm . i jump on my whm and debuff'em. and for most parties i get into... im always a main healer.. and at lower lvl's rdm's with sub cant main heal and not have downtime. since not everyone at lower lvl sub's nin to help make it easier for a single healer with no back up healer. and at some of the time my whm isnt really needed other than a cureIV or V. its just sitting there.
dont give me that 100% crap cuz no one gives 100% focus on this game when xp'ing. unless ffxi is all u do in your life but im sure it isnt..at least i hope. how is dual boxing not focusing on party? when im on the whm..apparently i know its just gonna sit there waiting for recast timer so of course imma hope on whm to give the other members some buff's to speed things up. and when im on whm im also throwing spells at my own party.. how did that lose focus off the party? if my whm is in another prty and im lvling my lil rdm at da same time.. well then u can say im not focusing.

Erase is one of them. Can't cast outside party if I recall correctly. Unless you don't need it.

sorry for the double post.. but i believe rdm/whm's dont get erase until they get around 65ish.... not sure what lvl erase is.. iforgot..
 
64 (the level I'm on). And you can't cast AoE bars as well. Very helpful versus Eruca and such mobs.
 
You aren't going to get parties against erucas because you can't barfira, and you aren't going to get a party on imps because you can't silena, and your precious PL isn't going to help you at those levels.

umm.. why would i be worried about something that i dont havta worry abuot for a long time? and when i get to that lvl i wouldnt havta care if i get a invite or not.

what makes u think my PL cant handle imps? i believe i already tried PL'ing in Caedarva Mire. its just like any other prty i PL. u make it sounds like my PL cant silena from outside....

If this is true, then why should WHM bother getting the spell before 50? There are some things that need erase, and slow isn't the only one.
