Fake Bazaars and the Douchebags Who Make Them

I bazaar things for 99,999,999 all the time, reason for it, and why i think people should calm down about it.... Level Sync, plain and simple, if I am playing Bard and I don't want to switch to a piece of gear that will have basically 0 effect, and I don't want to rewrite all of my macros, I just toss Item in my bazaar, all 9's is just arrow left, I don't have to worry about someone buying it, and the price is easy to put up. I am not going to try to structure my inventory around the level sync because all it takes is 1 rep to possibly change that anyways, Im not going to equip manteel in a level 63 party, nor do I want to leave it in my mog, or Bazaar it for slightly more then its worth so someone doesn't buy it. all 9's

Level Sync has taken over XP parties, it is either Meripo or Sync. it is great for faster parties but people need to skill up, another reason I bazaar items, I don't want to switch to my Terra's when i play elegy an lose all my TP.

So you regularly randomly equip the wrong items while going through your inventory? Butterfingers.

@ Acutie

I never mentioned bazaaring items to avoid tossing them. Don't assume that's why pop items are in a bazaar. Placing pop items in a bazaar improves transparency. Some people do it to show off. Big deal.

And no, shells don't always change their schedules "because life happens." The keyword was "continually." A well-ran shell wont change their schedule repetitively. It'll find a schedule that works for its members and stick to it. Events may get canceled. Key members may miss a run. But a shell worth staying in isn't going to say one thing and do another...over... and over... and over... again.

You could avoid having to enter your MH so often if you did some thinking yourself. In a 4-6hr session I enter mine maybe two or three times. Bazaaring equipment to remove it from macros helps in Campaign Battles and situational fights. Can't help ya if that bothers you. It improves my effectiveness when the situation calls for it.

Bottom line, you're venting on a flame thread about loosing less than a second for something that isn't going to change. Sure, it adds up overtime. But there are better ways of getting it off your chest than whining if it really bothers you that much. Whining accomplishes nothing. (Aside from the chuckle you gave me.)

What's more important here, is why does it bother you so? Why are you allowing others decision in how they use their bazaars effect you?

Fake bazaars are annoying...

Not sure if this has been said already, but I also did not feel like reading through 9 pages of posts lol. Well, anyway, I do think some people bazaar their items for fear that they might accidentally toss a valuable item when tossing shitty drops from partying.

I can see someone accidentally dropping a bomb core instead of a yagudo feather or something, lol.

Perhaps then they shouldn't be gigantic idiots and pay attention to what they're doing.

You know, you make a good point there. But people are going to be idiots no matter what they do.

@Rari

Dude there's nothing but whining on this section of the forum. If you're gonna complain about someone complaining, go to another area lol.

XD

I'm not complaining. I'm only commenting on the passing parade.

No, he (she? sorry ><) was saying he doesn't want to change all of his macros to make sure he doesn't gear swap to gear that is good at 75, but worthless at 30/50/whatever he's syncing to.

I think its crap (and I've seen this before, this person should be beaten severely) when there is a bazaar FILLED with 99,999,999,999 (etc). Not just one item, I'm talking 5+ items. And there is... nothing else in there. If you want to stand in the middle of Upper Jeuno mingled in with the selling crowd, for the love of cheese making goats HAVE SOMETHING FOR SALE. Congratulations! You have every single god pop from sky and a few pieces of gear you absolutely love and some uncursed gear! Great for you! Take it the fuck out of your bazaar and shove it in Mog Storage. Sell crystals! Sell Rusty Subligar! PUT SOMETHING IN THERE TO BUY!

I'm not going to begrudge someone a few token sentimental pieces, thats all well and good. If you have EVERY slot available showing off TEH SHYNEEZ and park yourself in Upper Jeuno simply to show off for you own shits and giggles?... Piss off.

So if I happen to walk through upper Jeuno and have some pointless things in my bazzar for 999,999,998 its wrong and annoying to rampant shoppers? Sorry but piss off and let people wander about this game they way they want to, we all pay to play this game, nobody should get so choked at what somebody else decides to do with their life/character.

There's no warning from SE stating 'Any materials in a bazzar not realistically for sale will result in a time wasting violation, punishable by banning....'

Nobody is twisting your arm to check a bazzar, its you that decides to waste your precious game time shopping, or indeed posting in a forum complaining about it... How many precious seconds were wasted typing up a post here when you could have been doing something in the game?

Typing up a post here and reading all the funny replies is entertaining. Who said anything about not having the right to? Everyone has the right to do annoying things, just because they have the right doesn't make it any less annoying though does it? I have every right to invite you to a party then boot you when you get there because I'm an asshole. It would be very very annoying, a waste of your time and I'd have every single right to do so, but I'm sure that wouldn't justify it now would it?

Now that's something legitimate to complain about, Acutie. Although, now you're comparing "CTRL/ALT+C, <enter>, <Esc>, <Esc>" (or two gamepad buttons) to a much lengthier list of input/commands to arrive at the PT's location. That's 1 sec. vs. 5+minutes. Or even 1 sec. vs. 1+hr, as in my original example. Is it worth sweating the small stuff? Non-purchasable items in a bazaars looks petty compared to the other ways we're robbed of our time. At least you have control over who's bazaar you check. No way of guaranteeing an invite wont be retracted.

its Funny i come across this Flame.. why!? Well because i bazaar items for 99's
the reason i do so is to Advertise high lvl crafters items. this way ppl can see who made them. i get alot of tells if there not signed and send them on there way to the crafter
that gave me the high lvl item. there is no reason to get made @ ppl who do infact place items in there bazaar for 99's because i find myself looking up the item they have and try to get one for myself. i see more benefit from those who bazaar items for 99's then it being annoying.

moreless you gotta really look at it from more then one point of view..

more or less you gotta really look at it from more then one point of view..

that's a point that falls on many deaf ears in the flameboard BBT, i figured you'd know that by now.

There is no wrong or right about this.
Only people that spaz too easily and sentimental dipshits.

You left out "or retards who use something as a crutch, elsewise they might accidentally remove something they didn't want to, because they have the attention span of an ADHD ridden kitten."

Cheese making goats and ADHD ridden kittens. Isn't that what this is all REALLY about?

I agree that putting something in your bazaar for max price is retared. There is no point. If something is of sentimental value, put it in your MH or safe. That's where my Lu Shang's is and it has an extremely high sentimental value. If you think you're going to accidently toss something, then yea... re: Skaw.
