Fallout 3

That's the best thing about melee. I only carry my Shishkebab, Dart Gun, and Frag Grenades. Bring out the Fatman if I'm going somewhere with a Behemoth though.

Ran into meh first one of them last night.. I promptly turned my box off following the ass-raping I recieved heh.

I wanna try a Behemoth without a fat man <.< The first one i killed got 1 shotted by it, no fun lol

Ran into my second one last night at some random camp. I'm sure it's part of the story line, it was being held captive in a electrically gated area.

After I cleared out the camp myself, freed some slaves, I released the creature blowing up the generator then lead it through some mines I strategically placed, got it stuck in a narrow path and barbecued the living shit out of it.

193 caps mine.. but that's all.

Don't think its part of the story. I've done everything but the last quest and haven't ran into any that weren't the GNR boss one.

Oh good, then there's lil chance I've screwed myself on story line options ^^

GNR is semi-optional too, since you can go straight to Rivet City and talk to Doctor Li.

yeah, the other Behemoth is in the slave camp area a little east of the 2nd vault you need to visit for the story, I think it was paradise falls, but I could be wrong. The fight isn't too tough if you kind of cheat at it. As soon as you open the gate run back to the hill area you came down from with trains all smashed up. Run between the trains and the hill area, the area is so narrow you can fit in but the behemoth can't. He'll simply turn around to try and circle, shoot him few times in the back, he'll turn and chase you again, rinse and repeat. I tried to use VATS and kill him with a missle headshot, but he just fell, no amazing death.

great game so far, only thing I dislike is whenever the Talon company shows up, those fuckers always give me a hard time.

Yeah its optional but its still part of the main story. Atleast if you're following the objectives you're given ;P

@Pupusa

I found the place you're talking about. Its Evergreen Hills, not Paradise Falls.

Behemoths are a piece of cake IMO. I can own them with just about any weapon I have. Don't even need to make it fall, but its fun with my Victory Rifle. Stupid thing glitched and attacked me when I got in range of his cage area though, he was supposed to be locked up.

Where is this Victory Rifle? I'd love a unique sniper rifle now that I've finally got a good supply of .308 rounds.

The Prototype Medic Armor isn't as worthless as I had thought. It injected some Med-X pretty quickly. Like 80% health, and I have 400 Health on my melee character. That, or it's smart to the point where it injects depending on how many enemies are attacking you, since it did kick in when a Vertibird dropped three Tesla Armor Enclave soldiers on me. I never really go below 90% health because of my HUEG LIEK ECKSBAWKS damage resistance(I'm either at the 85% cap for normal damage, or pushing very close to it) and health pool, so I'm not entirely sure what the conditions are for it to poke you with the needle.

Though, I do love the comment it makes when it injects. "It's only lead, soldier. Get back up!"

Link to the fallout wiki (The Vault), more specifically the page for the Victory Rifle: link

Better hope you have 100 lock picking. (or the cheap way: an unarmed npc)

Yea I hate them too, until I met them again last night. Used A3-21's plasma rifle, and head-shot insta-killed all three with a single VATS use. Woo green goo. Plus the talon combat armour is decent (as I still can't wear power armour), and can repair standard combat armour, which has 1 more def max.
I don't mind running into them now, as they drop a fairly decent amount of loot.

Beat it last night. Liberty Prime is awesome, and I'm annoyed that you can get a ridiculously good pistol(70 damage) right at the end of the game when you'd never get the chance to use it. I'll play through again eventually(stopped doing quests and just did plot the last two days), but I've got a bunch of other games I need to play through now.

I wish this game came out when I had enough free time to play it all the way through. I haven't done anything since Resistance 2 came out, which I only had time to play through once... haven't had tome for Valk Chronicles or Littlebigplanet either... or to even buy gears 2 yet..

I want to throw out a heads up about a very nasty bug on the PS3 version of the game. This bug might be present on other versions, so be careful, but I'm not entirely sure if it is. Well the other day I decided to create a new character. When exiting out of the vault, the stupid game overwrote my main save file. Not the Auto-Save file, but my first save file where my level 20 character was, which had just broken the 100 hour mark after nearly a month of playing.

So yea, careful when making a new character. The stupid ass game overwrites your 1st save file -without- confirmation or notification that it is overwriting one of your main files. I'm just so damn pissed off all that work got wasted. I feel like tossing this PoS now >.<;

This shows how truly incompetent Bethesda has become =/. Unfortunately the only solution to this ridiculous bug is to keep auto save off and keep a back-up of your save file(this should've been obvious since I began the game, but you would think a company releasing for the console market would squish out such bugs) handy at all times. Man I'm pissed D;

That sucks indeed, but it begs the question: did you only have ONE save file? That's asking to watch it get owned by a crash/file corruption/something else. I've like 200 saves, simply because I hit Esc, save, save my game on a new save (takes less than a second), and continue. When one of my latest saves got corrupted, spitting me back at vault 101 @ level 1 with no gear, I simply loaded a prior save from a few minutes ago, and was back on my way.

Still, sorry you lost all that work.

That's exactly what I did. I first laid out mines leading to that area, then when it would advance and turn to go around I'd bbq it with meh trusty flamethrower. lol I dominated it.. by cheating >;o

I have successfully shotgunned that Behemoth down <.<

I think my character is just too damage resistant and can survive a long time

I was talking with Osi, Jereme and a couple others last night and I think I need to focus on my skill points more. I tend to balance them out as I lvl up. That means I don't have one skill above 60 as of yet. Probably my problem. I get taken down really easy.
