Fallout 3

the real question is:

will i be able to migrate my save data over to a goty install on ps3?

That's assuming they work right when they are upped to xbl, too.

At least 1.5 works on the console.

1.5 pretty much nuked mod compatibility on PC, rendering the game completely unplayable(as in you don't want to play it anymore) because of the lack of ability to use FOOK/FWE/MMM. Once you've played any one of those, you really don't want to play the vanilla game anymore.

Of course Bethesda's secondary QA team, the players. have fixed a lot of the problems so far. But some mods still cause the game to shit itself.

Yeah, I've recently started playing through fallout 3 with FOOK/MMM, and I was pissed that I had to re-install the game to downgrade to 1.4 to get them to work.

Has anyone else been having problems with the new expansion Lookout Point? I've updated my PC to the new version they have on the website and every time I try and continue my game it crashes. Any ideas?

I heard that the new expansion gave lots of PCs some trouble. Its been lovely the past week on my 360 though. I've been having a blast with the double barrel shotgun.

Currently I can't leave any structures, the moment I attempt to load another map area the game crashes. I was also plagued with random freezes before it totally tanked. Which is unfortunate, because I wanted to explore the damn zone, shoot things and steal everything not bolted down. Ah well.

Just beat the story for point lookout. It was loads of fun. Got a lot of cool new gear. The named weapons in it are all pretty awesome. The map for it was surprisingly large.

Broken Steel > Point Lookout > The Pitt > Operation Anchorage order for favorites and value for the money.

I just got the new DLC and I would say total map size is somewhere around 1/4 to 1/5 the size of the capitol wasteland. Best DLC so far. What I realy like is that the mobs are damage sponges that can really put the hurt on you. It has made the game more of a challenge for my level 28 character. The new weapons so far are ok but nothing too impressive. Well worth the $ for any fallout fans.

Not sure. Probably best to ask Bethesda.

Anyways, got Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics cause I'm that much of a collectionist nut =P

As for Fallout 3, I'm really enjoying this, it's so much fun. The DLC for PS3 may not have arrived yet but I'd think it'd probably be out by next week at the earliest.

Every expansion gives lots of trouble for the PC game, if you're running mods. Bethesda, for some reason, likes to go and unnecessarily edit the shit out of old code that everything depends on.

Finished just about everything in Point Lookout. It was alright. The Pitt is still my favorite DLC so far. I still haven't done Broken Steel missions because I am nowhere near finishing the main story on my 2nd gameplay which is what I've been using to do the DLCs.

The DLC on PS3 has been delayed to September as Bethesda decided to start with Broken Steel rather than Operation: Anchorage.

Are you mother fucking kidding me!? Total fucking bullshit.

Well, considering that we are now gonna get Broken Steel first (so we get the level cap raised to 30 and we won't have the game suddenly end after the last quest) I think a delay isn't that bad of a thing.

Why on earth would someone be angry over a small delay to get broken steel first over operation anchorage. Just skip that garbage DLC all together unless you want completely broken items.

Mainly because I haven't loved a game as much as FO3 since FF7 and I've done everything there is to do as Evil, Neutral and Good and it pisses me off that they released it for the other systems but not PS.

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. They spent weeks saying July then some time in July and now they're just ditching they work they were supposedly doing to focus on Broken Steel which was already due about 2 months after Anchorage. It just leads me to believe that what they had been saying is a crock of shit.

Its just the way bethesda is. I'd be more worried about the DLC actually working when you download it then the inevitable delays that always happen no matter what game developer is.
