Hehehe, let's give some <3 to lolfishbots ^^ Time to share my story.
This reminds me of around a month ago, I was doing my usualy fishing round in SSG. Eventually, I see this:
Mengtangping caught a monster!
I didn't make much attention of it at first, as no {Call for Help} was issued, and it wasn't a Stygian Pugil, so meh... But after a while, I couldn't help but see that the Big Jaw was constantly hitting him, and he wasn't hitting back. So turn the camera around...
Mengtangping was constantly throwing his line in spite of being attacked. {Hmm...}
I stopped fishing, and just watched that accident happening in slow motion. Mengtangping was a higher-level WHM, so not only the Big Jaw didn't hit for more than 20dmg a hit and missed half the time, but he had Auto-Regen working for him. Still... his HP slowly depleted... and his fishing was constantly interrupted.
...will he make it back in time to save himself from a stupid lolfishbot death?
...10% life remaining, he still has a chance to throw a direly needed Cure V...
...Whoa, a sliver of life left! Will justice prevail?
Mengtangping was defeated by the Big Jaw

....What?!? No Level Down?!? ...what a deception!!!
Still, it was worth my stopping fishing to see that happen. I kept on trucking in Grimms and Breams afterwards, checking from time to time to see if he HP'ed. It took a full hour for his corpse to disappear. I'm sure he was very disappointed when he got back home.
A week later, I went to get some Noble Ladies at the fishing guild shop in Bibiki Bay, and who did I come across? Yup, Mengtangping fishing out Shall Shells. I think he had enough of the SSG experience for a bot's lifetime. Sure, I still feel a bit aggravated to see that lolfishbots are still around, but heh... I find comfort in thinking I'm better than them.
