Feature

I've partied with feature a few times. I think both occasions were in Bhathlou Thickets (sp?)*Not mamool Ja Staging point. Over all I thought she partied fairly well. had little trouble with getting to camp (like a lot of ppl do with Nyzul Staging point). Granted I dont see how its possible to not have IS as RDM 75 no less.. could solo a few spiders/birds and get 200 IS (probably would have been the easier less time consuming method for resolving this). and She probably could have responded. Was it because she died or was somone being a dick about the fact she died and/or HP. Overall Feature I have never had a problem with so i just find this hard to believe. But then again its not often we cross paths.

Ah, here we go. Theres always an idiot. First off, i never said she was a good player, she may very well be, next, i dont think this thread has anything to do with her being your RL friend, think thats irrelevant. I agree, we all have our bad days, thats very understandable, but does it hurt to say "Hey listen Air, its just not my day today, i caught some aggro and im a bit frustrated now, im gonna head out", as bummed as i would be, i would have atleast some respect for her being upfront with me and the party. We all of a sudden saw her back in whitegate, i believe i said either "?" or "Feature?", before she disbanded.

Bailing like that is just disrespectful and selfish. Although i personally dont think its that difficult to dodge aggro, shit happens and i dont blame her for that. This thread isnt about her being "Omg noob aggroed and died", its about her just being unprepared for one, then bailing on us after we tried to help, bad day or good day, i would expect some decency.

As for telling me to grow up....

First step: Must be lazy as to not farm/bcnm/etc
Final Step: Trade all your IS for coins because of (Step 1)

This is why you always leave 300 IS when you're using it all. 100 for sanction, 200 for a warp. Done deal.
 
I personally dont like to trade my IS for coins, yeah i guess free money but hell i dont think the cash gained out of it is worth the amount spent exping. I would rather save it and buy coins to use for salvage gear, not for gil...

There's nothing wrong with exchanging your isp for coins to make some extra gil. It sure as shit doesn't make you "lazy." With bcnm drops sucking regularly for a lot of people and farming not yielding any kind of dependable profit these days, in fact, it makes you pretty thrifty if you merit/exp enough and have it to blow.

That said, you are not very bright if you spend every last isp on doing this. Like someone mentioned, at least 100 for sanction bonus, 200 for runic portal: 300 points isn't that tough to get. Do besieged and get 1k isp. As RDM go solo something. At any given time I don't have less than 10k isp but that's just me. It means I don't have to worry about coins for warp taru or whatever. Bottom line is, if you're seeking in Aht Urghan, you had best have what you need to get around and stop wasting other people's time, or put in your search message that you are looking to exp in CP areas only.

She obviously did not. Call it what you want, but in my opinion, using every last bit of IS you have just to scavenge gil, makes me think your desperate for cash, and too lazy to get it another way. If its not lazy, then what do you call it? Stupid?

Eh i guess the way i worded it makes it sound like i was wondering, meant it to be rhetorical (sp), i know what you thought of it, i was just explaining that imo, its lazy and stupid to do that.

To each their own. Yes spending all your isp for that is stupid. If you can supplement your income without gimping yourself someplace else, then good for you. If you're gimping yourself then obviously it's not the intelligent thing to do. Hence why I said if you have it to blow.
