Hey I figured I'd post here since i'd be more likely to catch the eye of some summoners Im a up and coming smn myself and im missing Fenrir for my last summon. I already have the key item for the fight i just need a group of people who can help. I hear the 3+ smn combo works very easy. Any high lvl summoners want to take Fenrir down real quick one day? I can come as 75 BLM and nuke so its not like id be leaching

As BLM you will be leeching if you are only accompanied by SMNs, I know this first hand, lol. If you are going to go BLM, might be better to get a standard setup, with a BRD and PLD if at all possible (BRD has that dark resist song). Also his 2hour IS very much stunable, just when he gets close to 50%, stop casting anything, and keep your finger on the stun "button". My suggestion would be to post in the event scheduling if you haven't already. GL ^^

Best you can do if you have a bit of time is sit down in whitegate and shout.
It should take maybe an hour to gather a group if you're willing to go with a normal party setup.
If you have a ninja and a white mage to help you you're pretty much set to take any other DD job.

A ballanced setup should be able to take him down without too much trouble.
The only recommendation I have with the normal setup is to bring a white mage to Benediction in case you miss the stun on Howling Moon.

For an easy fenril I'll suggest this:

- some kind of tank ( monk pld nin war) that can hold it for the first 40% ish. Get a rdm/drk. chainspell stun at 60%, then have a few BLMs manafont. SMN works too, and another rdm can CS nuke as well, its very easy like this.

- I've done it like this with 3 SMN 2 BLM. fenrirx3 tanking and BLMs go nuts after 2H. From what i recall 1 tier 4 takes 10% HP.

With a SMN burn, probably best to stagger pets close to 50% (hold maybe 2 pets back until howling moon goes off, then send them in so he isn't raping everyone while they try to recast pets). BRD makes his 2hour very survivable, due to its bardark song (forget the name), and a WHM with shellra 5 wouldn't hurt either.
