FF VII Advent Children is out

Very good movie. If you enjoyed the game and story of the game this is a good conclusion. Also damn awesome to see those characters again! 11 out of 10!

Alright, question for the video patching impaired. How do you get the subs to work?

/slow

I put them in the same directory as the video, no go.

Put them in the subs folder again, no go.

Downloaded .dll's needed to patch the subs in, no go.

It'd make my day if someone could make a short walkthrough of how to do it for those who have little clue what they're doing ;_;

edit: and yes I have subtitles enabled in my video players.

Faster way to download this without the torrent file:

Step one:

Go to your desktop and make a folder named "ff7"

Step two:

Go to http://adel.gmud.net/ffac . If you went there should be a list of about 5 downloads, one being a .avi file and the rest being the subtitle files.

Step three:

Right click the .avi file and select Save Target As. Select the ff7 folder you made as the save location and begin downloading. For most higher speed users this goes at about 300kb/s and only takes 25-30 minutes opposed to the 1 day+ for the torrent.

Step four:

Once the .avi file is finished, right click the rest of the files in http://adel.gmud.net/ffac and save them to your ff7 folder as well.

Step five:

Play the movie and have fun watching one of the best graphical movies ever created!

Thanks for the link. I do have a question however. When i try to play the .avi file, all my programs seem to recognize it as a sound file only, and no video plays, only the sound of the movie (which is all in JP obviously) is there something i missed perhaps? I recently had to format my PC, and lost a lot of shit......
thanks again guys ^^

I SAW IT! I SAW IT!

I laughed.
I cried.
I .. nevermind.

I loved it. Holy crap. :o

Same here Aly, I'm almost in tears now... this is by far my new favorite movie, and probably still will be for years to come...

This is.... amazing. I'm almost at a loss to form a coherant thought..

SWEETS

thank you for the Codec link, video plays fine now. one problem. Windows Media Player cant seem to find the Sub titles. what player are you all using (windows media player is lame i know, but what can i say, formatting your PC takes its toll....)

anyways, thanks again. your help is MUCH appreciated.

The player I used was BS player. My friend couldn't get the subs to show up on his laptop, once he downloaded that player and ran it they came up just fine, hopefully that'll help.

I'm now 34 years old. Yes its been there 2 years! Plus, i played FFVII in 1995 (the japanese version) 3 times! Then bought the American Version and ended it 5 times. Online play wasn't my bag atm
