ff7 remade?

does anyone know if this is ever gonna happen . i heard it was awhile back but never did so :p

tell me it is!!!
 
There has never been an official announcment. Infact SE has officially stated that they have nobody working on it. That being said, the fact that SE has proven how remake happy they are, along with the buzz surrounding this rumor, I would be at a loss for words if it doesn't eventually happen.
 
During the recent Square Enix Party held in Japan, they asked the participants this question and post it on a board. Which FF games would you like to see remade?
Many posted FFVII for the ps3. Whether this will be answered, we don't know
 
If FFVII was remade, I assure you the PS3 will be sold out fast XD the fanbase for that game is so insane (a bit too insane.. I mean it's a fun game but as much fanbase as it has? XD)
 
If FFVII is remade, I guarantee the PS3 install base will go up by the exact number of registered users at Shinra Online.
 
I still don't get why so many people think that is the greatest FF game made... Sephiroth and Cloud were both pussies.
 
hehe, it was definitely better than a lot other FFs.. FF6 was fun but I still think it felt wayyyy too choppy from time to time.. like "hey you're here and here's a character he's this guy, now go with him because obviously you should just trust him outta the blue!"

I don't get why some think FF6 is the greatest FF of all time :P (personally I say Xenogears > all FF)
 
I'm a fan of pussy, therefore I obviously like Final Fantasy VII. Right?

That's because for many people it was the first final fantasy they played and it was a shitload better than 8 and 9. Same reason people think halo is the greatest game ever, because that was the first game they played and don't know any better.

That being said, I did enjoy FF7 and I might actually get a PS3 if they did a remake. An FF6 remake would be much better though.

Law of life, women will always say their 1st love was the best and FFVII will not get remade for the PS3, ever. In the current state the PS3 is in if they were secretly developing it... they scratched it now.

May god hear you on the FFVI Remake, it needs one fast. ^^

It'll come, cept it'll be for DS, following the trend of III and IV(and most likely V and VI to follow)
 
Meh FF4 was the best and 6 and 7 are pretty much a tie but if pressed I would put 6 ahead of 7.

Best console RPG is Dragon Warrior(quest) 4 on the NES and Xenogears is probably 3rd on my all time favs.
 
My top three are IV, Tactics, and XII. I'm not including XI because on its own it'd be a great game, but its fun factor is largely based on the player base, making it either a really awesome game or a very shitty one.

Oh, that could work right there. SE can make a near perfect translation of the original PS game to the DS. The installed base of the system is a good excuse for them to do it.

FFVII wouldn't be on any other system, I'd bet. I still think Sony has some deal when it comes to the games that were made for Sony before the contract was up.. I really wish I could read that contract :P but I dunno.. considering the popularity of FFVII it's surprising that it hasn't been milked of a remake yet XD

And if they were gonna scratch making FFVII for PS3.. wouldn't they scratch FFXIII and Versus for the same reason? O.o Though it is a possibility.

Honestly, I think it won't be remade though.. not sure why *shrugs* but whatever.

I would be so pissed off if they did an over-haul of V and VI for the DS. I liked IV, but not enough to buy it for the DS. V I like because of Mystic Knight I just fucking love that job to death. VI well VI is just creamy goodness. I would have to rebuy those for the revamped graphics. VII might be a possibility for the DS, but I think the graphics of VII wouldn't work well on a cartridge. If we were to see a remake I would anticipate PS3 to get it.
